A: The following unit does not offer a Y -Yoke system it features a baby 5/8" Receiver pin system that tilts and swivels.

A: This diffuser snaps into place.

Q: 4. Are these light really bright? My current fresnel leds are a bit soft. I would be using them with a softbox.

A: The output of the light really depends on which reflectors you are using with the source. The 22 degree reflector and the 10 degree super spot will give you the most output. If you want more light you can pair the 22 degree reflector with a softbox. If you remove the reflectors you will get a 180 degree spread which makes for a very even source but it will lose a lot of the output into the diffusion.

Q: 5. Does this light have a fan built in? Does it give off any noise?

A: It is very quiet..very faint sound..nothing to worry about..

Q: 6. Why the power supply bracket is not included? I'm supposed to use it with the power supply(which is kinda heavy) in the middle of the air...

A: The tungsten output is 1760 fc / 18,945 lux at 2.5' / 0.7 m.

Q: 9. Can this light be matched up with my existing LEDs? I have Dracast, kinitehnic Practilite 602, and the Westcott Icelight 2

A: Yes the color and saturation adjustments allow you to match the Wasp 100-C with various light sources, including production lights from other manufacturers.

Q: 10. Which Chimera Pancake would make better use of the light spread?

A: When the reflector is removed there is supposed to be a 180 degree spread. I'm planning to use a medium pancake lantern with the Wasp 100-C. I think the important thing is how you want to use the light and how much output may fill either a small area or a large room.

[0.8 lb] This light is crazy flexible -- It's small, easy to mount, compatibility with Profoto accessories is a great idea and the included optics work well. Sometimes not bright enough for a key (200-C for that), but there's always a reason to have it on set! 5

[0.8 lb] Fits so snug around the c200. which makes me feel like that softbox is never falling off. I do appreciate that the clamp portion rotates around, so I can adjust the position of the light angle if I need to without having to completely rebuild it. 5

[7 x 5 x 2"] This light is amazing!! Easy controls with fine adjustments to CCT, Hue, Saturation and dimming make it so I can match any environment. Also the strong colors are fun. Super light weight, so it's easy to travel with. Looking forward to trying the fresnel accessory. 5

[7 x 5 x 2"] Previously had reviewed this light but am unable to change my review. I had complained about the clamp not tightening firmly. I reached out to HIVE and they sent me new hardware for this known issue, and it has resolved my problem with the tilt control. They also sent me a redesigned vent that makes the range of the wireless APP control range considerably further. 5

[0.8 lb] I picked up this light (6 of them) because I'm a photographer that wanted to get into shooting video. This light worked with all my Profoto light modifiers so my workflow could match how I shoot stills (and most importantly I didn't have to buy all new accessories). It works great! Surprisingly bright and sturdy. The body is made out of aluminum and the whole thing seems pretty bombproof. My primary concern with shooting with an LED was color quality but what sold me was the color science that went into it explained on their website. Feels like a future! Also, I can control all the lights from my iphone which is really nice. Also it changes colors if you're into that. 5

[0.8 lb] I shoot wedding videos and decided to invest into a second one of these. Hive has upgraded the power supply to a smaller and longer cord for this light which was a great surprise. The barn doors were missing and I contacted Jon & Robert from Hive. They took care of me of course and my barn doors are arriving soon..Nothing like buying a product made in the USA with great customer service..Highly recommend.. 5

[0.8 lb] So far so good on this light..A true 650w equivalent ..I like that I do not have to use gels anymore. I just ordered the 10 degree spot reflector to increase output and throw. One thing that could be improved is the bracket..sometimes when barn doors are on the light starts to pivot down and I have to adjust it..Over all pleased with it and may get another down the road.. 5
