[0.275 lb] I bought this Sola 4+ fresnel for use as a back light in a typical 3 point lighting scenario. It fits the bill quite well I think. I considered the ARRI L5 for this because it is bi-color, but my budget didn't quite allow for it, so the Sola 4+ was the next best option. The Sola 4+ is light enough to place on a boom without excessive counterweights and allows for easy rigging. The fixture is mostly plastic which gives it a bit of a cheap feel however. The barn doors have plastic hinges but the doors are aluminum. Considering the plastic makes it light weight, which is a huge bonus if you are travelling with this fixture, I think it is a reasonable trade off. The focus range allows fine tuning and quite a narrow spot. Fan is quite enough that most audio situations would not pick it up. The fixture has a small form factor but it packs a pretty good punch for its size. Because it is only daylight balanced, I purchased the 5 piece CTO pack which includes a opal frost diffusion. Not sure I will use the DMX function but it's nice to know it's there incase I do. Overall, I think this light is a pretty good value but it needs to be handled and packed carefully to avoid possible damage. I gave the Sola 4+ five stars because it met my expectations based on the advertising and published specs. Now Litepanels needs to make a bi-color version of this fresnel to truly perfect it!

[Material] I disagree with the previous review of this speed ring. I have had no issues using this Light and Motion Chimera Speed Ring. It is made out of plastic but I have found it to be strong. I have been able to securely fit it on my CLx10 LED Light. It is a custom fit, it has never fallen off my lights. it is light weight but sturdy and strong. It is easy to pack. I have attached pictures so you can see the setup and also see how easily it packs. It is a must have for the Light and Motion Chimera Soft box.

[0.275 lb] I am familiar with Light & Motions battery integrated cinema lights (also can run off AC) and was surprised they even made a 10,000 lumen, flicker-free model. Its lighter and smaller than any of the heavy duty stuff Ive been lugging around. It comes with a decently long AC cord but you can easily use a Dtap and run your own batteries at remote locations. This is the power and quality I can use on all kinds of shoots, especially being fully dimmable. Throw on a dish or softbox and Light & Motion offers modifiers like a 25 degree Fresnel, barn doors, CTO sets, etc. Excellent high power lighting option!

[0.275 lb] Well I left a review back in 2017 after I bought it. Im still quite happy with the Fixture. I recently tested the CRI using my Sekonic C-700, the results hovered around 94.0 to 95.0 depending on temperature. I would say Litepanels general claim of a High CRI rings true but the output is no where near a 575w HMI. There are cheaper lights on the market now like the Aputure Storm 300d II that do output the equivalent of the 575w HMI, however I have not tested the CRI as of yet.

[0.275 lb] I was interested in these right from the first time I saw them. They work very well in the studio and I can see them being useful outside the middle of the day outside. Weight is excellent and build quality is top notch. Being able to use one system for constant light and strobe means less gear to lug around. My one complaint so was is that they should have included a charging system in the package (and yes, that would affect the price.)Even if you don't need to plug them in to achieve a higher level of light, you do need to charge them at some point and a charger and cable tested and approved by the developer would be preferable to having to hunt for something suitable and having no idea how reliable it will be.

[Material] This soft-box adapter from B&H Photo is exactly what I needed for my photography set-up. I received this part without any issues. All parts fit exactly as intended, I am off to the races to create some content.

[0.275 lb] These compact lights are simply amazing. they deliver the goods that is power and lots of light and at a fraction of the size of other lights in this power class. the simple light shaping tools are actually quite impressive. for some jobs I have been using the ring adaptor to leverage my profoto soft boxes as well.

[0.275 lb] work as expected and solid, it is better to detach it after few days to avoid oxidation between the screw and light body

[Material] High quality product - I have been using Light&Motion products for over 5 years. They are built tough! They are reliable and worth the price. The night sea is a specialized blue used to see underwater fluorescence during the night. I use a yellow barrier filter to photograph these beautiful colors underwater. This light is for explorers, divers, researchers, scientists and nature lovers.

[0.275 lb] A great addition to the Reflex for a softer look without a spot highlight.
