This yellow barrier filter can be attached to your port with ease via the supplied lanyard. It blocks the blue light emitted by the GoBe, which stimulates the organisms to fluoresce, and allows the stunning glow to be photographed and recorded as it was meant to be seen. Be sure to pick up a second yellow barrier filter to put over your dive mask, so you can observe the fluorescence in all its beauty in the moment.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this camera have image stabilization?

A: Unfortunately, SeaLife Micro 3.0 Digital Underwater Camera lacks built-in image stabilization.

Q: 2. I have a Canon 6D Mark ll with a 24-105mm. I would like to take it for a mermaid shoot. Would this body size work?

A: The Outex 130 Underwater Camera Cover (Large) is too large for the Canon EOS 6D Mark II DSLR Camera with the attached Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM Lens. Instead, get the Outex 110 Underwater Camera Cover (Medium), BH #OUCOVER110. The Outex Rear Glass for Underwater Camera Cover (86mm), BH #OUREARGLASS, and Outex Front Glass for Underwater Camera Cover (77mm Filter Thread), BH #OU77MM, are required.

Q: 3. Is the 110 medium the same as the pro regular cover?

A: No, it is smaller the the pro cover.

Q: 4. Would it fit an 80D canon?

A: The Canon EOS 80D will fit in the Outex 110 Underwater Camera Cover (Medium) as long as the lens you are using and the camera is not longer than 10.23" (260mm). You do need to add the Outex Rear Glass for Underwater Camera Cover (86mm) and a front glass. Here is the link for the Outex Rear Glass for Underwater Camera Cover (86mm): https://bhpho.to/2FmGU2C The front glass you buy will depend on the lens you are using. For help to pick the correct front glass please email us at uw@bhphoto.com.

Q: 5. Can this also be used on an underwater housing?

A: Of course. I am using it on the sony housing.

Q: 6. Would this work for a 5D Mark iii? Is it submergible?

A: No, it would not. The Outex 110 Underwater Camera Cover (Medium), B&H # OUCOVER110, would instead be recommended for use with the Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR camera as long as the length of the camera and the lens you will be using is 10 inches or less. As it is designed for underwater usage, yes, it may be submerged. Outex’s patented waterproof design is IP08 tested to 10 meters or 33 feet deep when applied correctly. The seal is waterproof and ideal for water sports, snorkeling, etc. Outex was not designed as scuba gear and it does not protect your equipment against severe underwater pressure while scuba diving.

Q: 7. does this fit a Nikon P950?

A: Yes the Nikon D950 will fit inside of this but it does not fit will and it strains the zooming motor when it tries to zoom in and out.

Q: 8. What size case for a Sony a7riii with a Sigma 28-70mm 2.8 lens?..thanks

A: The Outex 100X Underwater Camera Cover (Small) will fit a Sony a7riii with a Sigma 28-70mm 2.8 lens.

Q: 9. Will this fit a canon 1Dx MarkIII with a 100-400mm lens?

A: The camera is about 1/2" too high, all the other dimensions look good. It is a silicone material so it may stretch out to accommodate the camera's height.

Q: 10. Does it diminish photo quality and is this a good cover when kayaking?

A: The Outex 130 Underwater Camera Cover (Large) requires a front and rear glass. It will not degrade image quality and is one of the better bag underwater housings. For help to see what front and rear glass is required for your camera and lens email us at uw@bhphoto.com.

[Dedicated] I needed an underwater housing for my SLR so I could use it on a trip that would include some very basic snorkeling. Admittedly I was a little reluctant to jump in the ocean with my camera in what amounted to a plastic bag, but there was nothing to worry about because the bag worked flawlessly. It was real easy to use, the camera went in and came out quickly. Obviously it was cumbersome to use the controls underwater due to there being a thick plastic bag between fingers and the controls but it beat not having a camera that could be taken underwater. I considered buying a rigid housing that would allow for better control interface underwater but I decided since I am not a professional and since I don't do extensive underwater photography investing that much money seemed foolish. An additional bonus is this case folds up pretty small, so tucking it in my camera bag was easy.

[Dedicated] This is my first experience with an underwater camera. I am glad I chose SeaLife. Oh I got the camera in the mail the morning that I left for about an hour and played around with the various controls while I was on the airplane.

This camera is incredibly user-friendly and takes terrific pictures. Most of my diving on this trip was between 30 and 60 feet. Using the "Dive" mode, the automatic filtering system for correct in the colors worked remarkably well. In fact, when I used an external light in dive mode, the pictures were not as good. (There is a separate mode for "external light.") I highly recommend this camera, especially if you are a novice like me.

[11 x 6 x 2.25"] I bought the ikelite house obviously to take underwater shots for the beach. nothing to complain about here. Just make sure you slap in a full battery so you don't have to stop and swap it mid swim. It has a slightly positive boyency, not crazy you probably won't notice it. All the controls are accessible tho it might be hard to see the monitor under intense sunlight at the beach.

[0.4 lb] Light weight and easy to use. I started using it with my Canon EOS10D and am still using it with the EOS 50D. With all other housings I would have had to buy a new one each time I changed the camera...

[11 x 6 x 2.25"] Decided to get this over cheaper alternatives mainly due to:1) optical glass for better image quality2) adaptor to hold front of glass against your lens which really help in preventing any vignetting I do have previous experience using sports housings by aquatech for sports photography and got this more for casual beach side usage. Overall, am very satisfied by the quality of the housing and the images produced out of it.

[11 x 6 x 2.25"] If you are looking for an easy to use and no maintenance underwater point and shoot camera, this is the one. It's solid like a rock but feel comfortable in hand. It's fixed focus so no more struggles for focusing the right target. The snorkeling white balance preset generated quite accurate colors. And the picture quality is very good. It's easy to mount on a monopod to extend the reach for video. All in all it's an excellent travel underwater camera that can generate good results yet adding minimal load to your luggage. The attached photos are frame grab from the HD videos (about 2MB resolution). It's far from the normal single shot picture quality so this is for reference only.

[11 x 6 x 2.25"] High quality product - I have been using Light&Motion products for over 5 years. They are built tough! They are reliable and worth the price. The night sea is a specialized blue used to see underwater fluorescence during the night. I use a yellow barrier filter to photograph these beautiful colors underwater. This light is for explorers, divers, researchers, scientists and nature lovers.

[0.4 lb] This is a really great housing. I have been using it for surf photography. The housings made for surf photography can run you a couple of thousand, minimum, so this one is an awesome way to get started! It's a bit tricky without being able to test the settings and the lens port requires some cropping in post when using wide angle lenses. Totally worth it though!
