The Hensel 12" Grid Reflector for Photographyfrom Hensel 12" Grid Reflector for Photographyis a light modifier with a strong center focus and considerable fall off toward the edges. The reflector has a silver interior for maximum output and will fit all Hensel heads with an EH mount (see compatibility). Optional accessories include grids for narrowing the beam spread and a 4-way barndoor set for select control of the output.

A: You need a Zoom reflector and the grid holder. It is a proprietary size with no alternative mount.

Q: 7. I have an Impact Ff-S1 fluorescent fixture. Will this reflector fit on that fixture and, if not, can you recommend a reflector that will? Thank you.

A: Unfortunately, this reflector would not fit the Impact FF-S1 Fluorescent Fixture nor is there one that will fit.

Q: 8. How deep is this reflector? A: when the bulb is inside the reflector it does not stick out at all from the reflector area

A: yes

Q: 10. How do I know which size reflector to buy? I see 5 , 10 , and 12 as choices. Are they for different size bulbs? Do they have different beam angles? Are the larger reflectors deeper, or just wider?

A: The difference between these is your photography needs, not the light source/bulb.

[Metal] When i first saw one i thought ok ya just another beauty dish..another product they want to sell. After using it i have completely changed my mind. I think this is a must for any serious photographer. I love how to lighting looks. i can even make it look like a softbox. Its super light weight and installs in like 2 seconds. Very easy to use and control lighting with. I would highly recommend this for any photographer.. just when i thought hensel lighting couldnt get better this unit proved me wrong. 5

[Silver] I am a fashion/beauty photographer based out of New York and I recently upgraded my lights to Hensel. I've always been a fan of ringflash light and once I got the new Hensel ringflash, I could not wait for the reflector. To simply put it... It was a dream come true. 5

[Silver] This reflector has a 50 degree angle with a very even lighting across the span. It provides 1-1/3 f-stops more light than the standard 7 90 degree reflector and 2/3 f-stops more than the 9 Medium 50 degree reflector so I'm able to conserve battery on my Porty L 1200 by using lower power settings. It's a little cumbersome to transport so I just use the box it came in. I also have the 14 30 degree reflector which gives 1-1/3 f-stops more light than the 12 but you can't really use that one for groups up close like you can with the 12. 5
