This replacement Manfrotto R103807 Plate Lock Lever for Tripod Headsfrom Manfrotto R103807 Plate Lock Lever for Tripod Headsis compatible with a Manfrotto MHXPRO-3W 3-Way, Pan-and-Tilt Head; MHXPRO-2W 3-Way, Pan-and-Tilt Video Head; or MHXPRO-BHQ2 Ball Head. It is a cam lock that retains a quick release plate used with any of those heads.

A separately available T20 Torx screwdriver is required for installation.

A: No, but you can buy the carbon fiber legs and the Be Free video head separately, but you will pay a lot more for only a slight weight difference. Also, the carbon legs don't have the ball-joint between the fluid head and legs. That was the main selling point for me. The ability to adjust the head for level pans instead of messing with the hight of each leg. For me that's really what makes it a video tripod.

[Aluminum alloy] This is by far the best Manfrotto Replacement Pan Lock Knob out there. I've tried a lot of pan lock knobs in my day and this is far superior than any other pan lock knob I have ever tried. Highly recommend you use a fluid video head with this product although it does wonders on its own. Great feel. Great look. Great product. 5

[Aluminum alloy] Where do I start? I bought this to replace a missing knob on a Manfrotto MVH500A video head. With minimal skill and no instructions, I was able to screw it into place, all by myself! Next, I found that by tightening it, the knob will actually lock the video head pan direction. Whoa! Incredible! After a bit of investigation, I discovered that loosening the screw actually unlocks the pan direction. Oh my, this is amazing technology! The product is very high quality, with a precisely molded plastic knob and a perfectly threaded screw. The knob is a lovely shade of black that compliments the MVH500A video head. I anticipate hours of enjoyment with this screw. Highly recommended!!! 5
