A: Oben Quick replease plates will only fit on Oben tripod heads. Every brand of quick release plates is different and unique from the next brand, and in general there is not a universal type plate in this instance we could offer you. The fitment on the Steadicam Smoothees are proprietary and for specific small devices, and as such, they do not offer any type of connection to mount an AHFG20 camera to them.

[0.095 lb] Despite the picture on B&H webpage, the QR-20 plate comes with the D-Ring type screw (both the platethat came with my BC-126 ball head, and the separate plate I ordered). The D-ring screw is now a 3-Way screw that can be tightened with: Fingers, Allen-key, Coin or flat blade screwdriver, so it should make everyone happy! Additionally, for those who have older QR plates -- the D-Ring screw can be ordered as a QRS14D for only $ from B&HAnother thing: the QR-20 plate has a white index mark on both of its long edges, which makes it easy to line up with the scale on the slot in the tripod head, no matter which way it is fitted to the bottom of a camera or lens.Please note, however, that there is another separate D-ring, coin/screwdriver slot screw # RPS14D that is used with the RP-series Square plates. 5

[0.1 lb (45.4 g)] I purchased this camera plate for my telephoto lens ring. It is much easier to have another plate instead of switching my plate from the camera to the lens ring. The 1/4 20 screw has a swivel on it so there is no need for a coin or screwdriver to tighten, which is an added convenience. 5
