The VM-400HDCPxl is a 4K@60Hz (4:2:0) 1:4 distribution amplifier for HDMI signals via single-link DVI. It takes one DVI input, equalizes and reclocks the signal and distributes it to four identical outputs. With the appropriate adapter, it distributes signals having resolutions up to 4K@60Hz (4:2: 0), WUXGA and 1080p.

Q: 1. Does this come with rack ears for mounting?

A: Yes, the Kramer VM-10H2 4K HDR 1×10 HDMI Distribution Amplifier includes rack-mount ears that come in the box with the amplifier.

Q: 2. Will this work with both Anaolg and Digital Signals?

A: I have used it in a couple of churches using HD cameras. And it has worked very well.

Q: 3. I'm looking for something that will allow me to connect multiple speaker types to my mixer to monitor music productions from different speakers. I need to send audio out from the main mix on my mixer to powered studio monitors, and non powered PA speakers (the audio would go into the built in mixer that acts as the amp for the speakers and go to the speakers from there) as well as running to a stereo amp unit (connects with RCA type audio connectors, so would run 1/4 to RCA cable) that is running subwoofers? I have been warned that running powered sound into powered speakers can be bad, so that is why I am wondering if this would be a good solution for my usage. Thanks!

A: I have this unit and it works great for the intended purpose, but I don't think I would want to use it for what you have described. It probably could do the job, but it sounds as if you need a good mixer instead. All my mixers have had monitor outputs, main outputs, and an RCA line-level output for recording (often labelled tape ). It sounds as if all your needs could be met by a decent mixer with a full compliment of outputs.

Q: 4. Does it come with the BNC connectors at the back of the OpenGear 3.0 frame?

A: The Rear Input/Output Analog Video Module does not come with this DA. We do however have it available for a separate purchase on our website.

Q: 5. Does it come repopulated with some cards? or do you have to buy them individually in order for it to function?

A: It does not. This is an empty module which you would fill with cards according to your specific needs.

Q: 6. Can this be used for Time Code Distribution?

A: This can be used to distribute tri-level sync, but not time code specifically.

Q: 7. Is there a mounting bracket to mount this on a backboard?

A: The weight of the PreSonus HP4 - 4-Channel Headphone Distribution Amplifier is 5 pounds.

Q: 9. Will this splitter support 59.94hz?

A: According to C2G this spillter supports 3840 X 2160 at 30Hz 4:4:4 along with 3840 X 2160 at 60Hz 4:2:0. It does work with 60Hz, but at a reduced color space only.

Q: 10. Sir/Madam can we check continuity for this cable(DP to DVI adapter). can you please share datasheet to check continuity or please share the process?

[17.64 oz] I use this unit to split signal from IPAD2 or Laptop or DVI visualizer into separate monitors as well as an HD video mixer. This unit was the only splitter I found that would split the signal and do the HDCP handshake with my mixer. 5

[DC 5 V] In remodeling my home, I wanted to synchronize one pair of TVs (Master Bedroom and Master Bath) and one triple of TVs (Kitchen, Family Room and Sun Room) to eliminate audio echoing between connected rooms. Each group is fed by the HDMI output of one cable box. I was told by my local A/V company that this was risky because of the +60 cabling distances required and the load on the cable boxes. I installed one Kramer 1:2 Distribution Amplifier and one Kramer 1:3 Distribution Amplifier. Cable runs were in made in-wall using 3 Kramer 66 Optical HDMI cables. Results? Perfection! 5

[32 °F] This pushes HDMI signal just right for me. Had two 100' runs for this to 2 monitors with no artifacts or loss of color or clarity. It had a 100' run from the switcher so 200' no issues. Perfect little box and man are they pricey though for 1x2. 5

[17.64 oz] I bought this to replace a dying switch. It is everything I hoped it would be. It solved three separate troubles we had with power switching on end devices. Device on or off caused Mac to loose its display config. The switch blocks the signal with EDID. Will definitely consider Kramer for future needs. 5

[1.99 lb] This is a very simple 1x2 DA that gets the job done. No muss, no fuss. Using it to distribute PGM out from a small HDMI switcher, and it works just fine. 5

[1.99 lb] This unit is truly plug and play. I am using this in a medium sized conference room to split video between two Epson 1080p projectors. One run is going 90' using 60' & 30' Redmere cables with a coupler. The other is going 50' with a Redmere cable. Inline before this unit I have a 4 way HDMI auto switch that goes to wall HDMI plugs for source selection. So, the signal is passing through multiple long HDMI cables (all Redmere) and couplers before it gets to this unit. I had tried a cheap $ HDMI splitter which didn't have the power to pass both signals. This unit has the power and just works. 5
