[0.025 lb] My eyesite is always somewhere between -2 and -2.5. This diopter works great and is just a matter of screwing it on.But when I came out of the box I couldn't believe that it was $!!! The thing is the size of my thumb nail. It's not that I would or would not recommend this to a friend, if you need it, you can't do without it (and leica knows this).... hence the high price 5

[0.025 lb] This allows me to throw my glasses in my pocket and use the viewfinder to correct my vision. My right eye is the really bad one, so I look through my Leica M9-P with my bad eye and everything is clear and in focus. I look at the rest of the scene with my left eye, which is pretty good anyway, so I can recompose at a moment's notice. Now I don't have smeared glasses from trying to squint through glassess and a viewfinder. I have one for each camera body... 5

[+2.0] Easily Screws into the existing optical viewfinder of the M246. Correction is exact and certainly makes it a lot easier to focus if you are wearing prescription glasses. 5
