Q: 1. Looking to support a Sony 200-600 and a7RII using the mounting point on the lens. Seems like that may be too heavy. Any experience out there?

A: It can hold the weight of that large lens and camera well. The issue is that the grip will be far forward from where the camera is, so you will need to extend your arm a lot to press on the grip and move the camera at the same time to set the angles. Also the connection point of the quick release plate is small while the foot of the lens is large, so will be hard to find the plate underneath the foot of the lens. A: Hi Orlando, Sorry for the delay in responding. The plate is Arca style not RC2 so the answer is no. Sorry but is will not work.

A: The Vello Hand Grip Strap with Arca-Style Quick Release Plate will work with the Sony a7R V Mirrorless Camera and is size adjustable.

A: You can attach the Oben QRA-R2 Quick Release Assembly with RP-20 Plate, BH #OBQRAR2, to the Vello Hand Grip Strap with Arca-Style Quick Release Plate and your camera. The assembly will allow you to attach and detach the grip from the bottom plate quickly. Get the OP/TECH USA Uni-Loop Connectors (Regular), BH #OPSCUNL, for the other side of the grip.

A: Yes, it can be used on the XT-1 battery grip too, however it will not fit as snuggly as it would on the XT-2 grip.

A: The VHS pin in the Gitzo Quick Release Plate for Sony Alpha Cameras is an anti-twist pin to prevent certain cameras with this location pin drop from twisting. Certain Sony telephoto lenses also provide the same drop in hole for the VHS pin; in case the anti- twist flange cannot meet the edge of the foot on the lens.

[0.1 lb] I didn't think I'd ever find a plate for my D5500 that won't twist. This works great and doesn't get in the way of the articulating LCD at all. It was good to find this for a camera that isn't going to get the attention of the big Arca-Swiss plate makers. I'm hoping this is also generic enough to fit other small cameras since the lip on the back is just enough to keep it from twisting. 5

[Arca-Type] This Kirk camera plate is a well made camera plate for an Arca Swiss type quick disconnect attachment. It fits the XT2 vertical grip bottom plate well and the coved lip acts as an anti-torque edge to prevent the plate from coming loose while the camera is moved when attached to the tripod or monopod. Never purchase a camera plate that does not have a anti-torque edge. Rubber pads alone on the mounting surface do not secure the plate to the tripod base when torque is applied such as when using a telephoto lens. 5

[Aluminum] I have been using the B-Grip camera system for many years and having extra plates makes it very easy for me to swap between cameras, lenses and other equipment that can be carried on the B-Grip Evo Camera Belt Support System. I much prefer to carry my camera on my belt while walking or hiking than over my neck or shoulder. This is an integral part of the system. 5
