Featuring built-in PIR and microwave detection sensors and tri-focus optics technology, the Bosch ISC-PDL1-W18G TriTech+ Motion Detectorfrom Bosch ISC-PDL1-W18G TriTech+ Motion Detectoruses optics with three focal lengths for long-, medium-, and short-range coverage. Its 90° field of view covers a 60 x 80' area, or a narrowed 25 x 33' area. Sensor Data Fusion technology analyzes signals from all five sensors including two pyroelectric sensors, a range adaptive finder, a room temperature sensor, and a white light level sensor to provide accurate detection.

The detector adjusts its sensitivity to compensate for weather, ensuring accurate operation in varying weather conditions, and features self-adjusting LED brightness to automatically adjust to surrounding light levels. There is a blue LED that indicates an alarm condition and activates during a remote walk test. The detector is immune to drafts, insects, and small animals under 10 lb, helping to reduce false alarms. Installation is quick with its self-locking enclosure and built-in bubble level.

A: The Bosch LP1-UC10E has an IP rating of 65, which means that it is water/weather resistant but not completely weatherproof. If installed outdoors, it should ideally be used in an area with at least moderate shelter.

Q: 8. Hi guys, My pad says that I have a fault number 2 which means battery of the sensor is low. I removed it to change the battery, however I can not locate the battery. Is there even one? Any idea to help? Cheers

A: This is a hard wired motion sensor, there is no battery. My suggestion is to contact the Alarm installer. Low battery can be the backup battery on your panel. or an RF alarm sensor.

Q: 9. Do I need to purchase an activation license for this recorder to display camera video on my monitor

A: You do not need to purchase any licenses. This unit will be able to decode either 1 HD camera up to 1920x1080 resolution or up to 4 standard definition cameras and the user interface can be configured to view in a quad mode.

Q: 10. Is this mount universal or for Bosch equipment only?

A: I would say it is NOT for Bosch equipment only. We used it with a Cisco Video Conference Camera.

[5.9 x 3 x 2.5"] Well-built and surprisingly bright for a short range illuminator. My only gripe is the user manual I received, it came in every language except English. I would have preferred more technical information about optimum placement and more intelligible graphs for the various diffusers. Even so, not a big issue. A couple minutes of trial and error and you'll have the neighborhood lit up nicely. Definitely recommend. 5

[0.525 lb] I kept having false alarms and it was the old motion detector of a different brand. 2nd one that I've replaced with a Bosch and not one issue. And I thought the price was fair too. 5

[9-15 VDC] I've had a few of these scattered about the property for a couple years now. Throws a lot of IR and have been flawless. Beam pattern, IR power, and photocell sensitivity are adjustable. 5

[5.9 x 3 x 2.5"] Replaced Optex 40 X pri with Bosch Blue Line detectors. Bosch is quite a bit more sensitive and gives better coverage. These are great atributes for a good alarm system. Did not use the tamper portion of the detector. I have a 4 wire lead to the detector. Red to plus, black to neg. and the two other leads to the n/c terminals. Polarity is of no concern as you connect the n/c wires. 5

[IP41 (EN 60529)] Bought 2 after other cheaper illuminators were low-light. THey run off a 12 V 7AH battery and the beam means they illuminate objects within 50 ft or more! 5
