Zynaptiq ORANGE VOCODER - Real-Time Vocoder Effects Plug-Infrom Zynaptiq ORANGE VOCODER - Real-Time Vocoder Effects Plug-Inis a real-time vocoder plug-in for Mac OS X that features a built-in thirty-two voice synthesizer, eight different vocoder algorithms ranging from analog modeled circuits to digital cross-synthesis modes, filter-bank freezing and reverb, a ten-band graphic EQ, and more. The vocoder engine's carrier and modulator inputs can be sourced from the plug-in input, a side-chain input, and the internal synthesizer, and changing the routing is as simple as clicking one or two switches.

The integrated virtual analog synthesizer features two oscillators with ring-modulation and hard-sync. The software provides analog emulation and sampled waveforms, and uses a 4-pole low-pass filter to shape them. Also available are a distortion circuit, dual LFOs, and an envelope follower. The synthesizer can be triggered via MIDI, or by using the on-screen keyboard.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Then, if I have this interface connected to a mac mini via Thunderbolt and use ProTools, how can I add preamps/inputs?

A: There is no way to add preamps or physical inputs to the Apollo Solo Heritage. For that, you would need an Apollo Twin that has an ADAT port so that you can add an ADAT preamp for additional channels than what is included with the Apollo Twin. Or, you can add tracks in Pro Tools and record those tracks separately, while listening to the existing audio tracks already recorded, when using the Apollo Solo Heritage.

Q: 2. Can I daisy chain other Thunderbolt 3 interface (apollo, volt or others/not Universal Audio) and record 4to6 mics same time?

A: You cannot daisy chain other Thunderbolt 3 interfaces with the Apollo Solo Heritage Edition Desktop 2x4 Thunderbolt 3 Audio Interface with SOLO.

Q: 3. How do I turn the camera on?

A: The Kodak Water & Sport Waterproof Single-Use Camera does not have an ON/OFF switch and does not need to be turned on; all you have to do is to advance the film advance wheel on the top of the camera until it will no longer turn, then you may press the shutter button to take the photo. You would advance the wheel again to prepare to take the next photo.

Q: 4. The camera itself got a little hot. Will the pics still be okay?

A: That should be ok, if the camera is hot for a long period of time, that will affect the film.

Q: 5. How does the film get processed when all pictures have been taken ?

A: I was able to take it to a local drugstore (CVS) for processing. The processed it overnight for a reasonable price. Great underwater photos in Aruba.

Q: 6. Can the Solo drive 250 Ohm headphones?

A: Yes they will drive 250 ohm headphones.

Q: 7. Does it pass tia standards

A: No

Q: 8. It looks like this item has a few issues. Will it stay in place? Does it cover the focusing sensor and flash? Does the clamp on the front (screen panel) side cause actions to be taken as if the screen is being touched? It may be time to return to the engineering/drawing table?

A: It definitely has issues, one being that it doesn't stay where you put it. There's also the fact that you really need to put the phone on a tripod when using the lense.

Q: 9. If I pair the DVK-400 with the TPC-700 touch-panel controller, do I still need a host computer for control?

A: Yes, when using the Datavideo 4K Real-Time Chroma Keyer with 10-Bit, 4:4:4 Video Processing with the Datavideo 7" Touch Panel Controller TPC-700 you will need a PC for initial setup. After that the TPC-700 controller would work and you would not need to have a computer connected.

Q: 10. How would it compare to Blackmagic Ultimatte 12 ?

A: They are very similar in capabilities. One thing that is worth mentioning is that Blackmagic is known for their excellent software and integration with their other products.

[Download] I can't believe how much power and potential is packed into this machine. Knowing that you can tweak and edit 128 individual sounds infinite ways (seriously, the combinations are only limited by what you stop at) was the biggest draw to this. I've heard of many professional acts who swear by the Microkorg, and it's obvious why: you simply can't beat what it offers in size, power, and price. Needless to say, I love mine!

[Download] I've had this synthesizer for a little less than a year now, but have owned the original Microkorg since 2010 or so. Man! This thing is pumped with all the improvements you wish you had in the original Minikorg! The Speaker ultimately made this synth a must have for me, and it's really solidified my opinion on how great it is! I no longer have to unpack my amp, or configure a chain of signal routing just to get a sound from my Microkorg. This thing allows me to turn it on, and jam out in the open air. No headphones, or amps required. The New sound bank is cool, but not really anything to ditch your old Korg for. What's impactful is the D-bank of empty patches, that you can sculpt and save for. Now I'm no longer deleting factory presets when I create a cool sound. The vocoder is nice, and upgraded with 8 new Vocoder patches. The one we all want (A Dry Input) has now been installed, as well as a few robot voices, and sound that aren't so cheap. The color is kinda bland, but a few sticks never hurt anybody. The LED colors have been modified as well, in a better way. If you've never owned a Microkorg and have always thought about buying one, I HIGHLY recommend you get this! It's a GREAT started toy into synthesis, and when you really get into the bare bones of sculpting waveforms in the menus, you'll find you can do so much with this synth.

[Download] The Korg microKORG is an excellent synth. Having remained in production for over 20 years, its status as a constant is determined by its sound and ease of use. I haven't messed with the factory presets but designing your own sounds is a breeze with the intuitive knob layout. The sound engine sounds very natural. I wouldn't say analog because resonance on the filter is markedly digital but there are countless analog-like tones to be had. The oscillators don't start at the same phase with each key press, which makes this much more analog sounding than digital. The polyphony leaves something to be desired because, when making layered patches, you only get two notes. The ring-mod on oscillator two is quite good and, so far in every application I've used, ring-mod-sync seems to be more pleasing than sync on its own. The effects give a nice stereo dimension to the sounds and, on a synth of this stature, four mod-matrix slots seems to be just enough. I can't recommend key-tracking LFO 2 enough for really cool analog-FM style tones. Getting a tracked LFO speed for each note does so much for creative sound design. The microKORG has definitely remained in production for as long as it has for a reason.
