This large Realtree MAX-5 LensCoat TravelHood Large Realtree MAX-5 Camera Coveris designed for 400mm f/2.8, 600mm f/4, and 800mm f/5.6 lenses as a lightweight and portable alternative to a standard lens hood. Its ribbed design allows it to wrap around the lens and fold flat to pack into your bag. A: No this case is completely no frills, just neoprene, some velcro and that's it. The flap is pretty reliable so I usually rely on the camera's hand strap to keep it in place and the case to protect it...

A: Because of the way TheLensCoat TravelHood Zoom is built, it will fit on zoom lenses from approx 67mm up to approx 150mm diameter. When using this hood on all lenses, and especially smaller zoom lenses, it can cause vignetting at the wider angles of the zoom.

[0.615 lb] This does the job of a good sun hood, while avoiding the hassle of having to lug along a Canon original hard hood while travelling or backpacking. Attaches quite easily (not quite as easily as the original hood), and stays in place while jostling the camera around on my shoulder going from one setup to another. I won't take my original hard hood on the plane because it's too hard to pack and vulnerable to breakage. And it doesn't backpack. There are no backpacks roomy enough to take the original hard hood on the lens. 5

[0.615 lb] As always LensCoat does not disappoint. American made and at quality. Note that this travel hood might be actually heavier than your original lens hood. I only use it on hikes with a custom made clip in cap for my RF600mm F4. 5

[0.615 lb] My canon 50mm is usm F4 I bought was missing the oem hood and this was a very nice option it fits well and serves my needs, I also got one for my Tamron 150-600mm 5
