Telecentric lenses are designed so that the light exiting the rear element is perpendicular to the sensor. Non-telecentric lens designs allow the light to strike the sensor at an angle, which can lead to vignetting at the edge and corners of the sensor. The telecentric design of the lens minimizes vignetting.

A: This NexImage 5 will fit into any 1.25 format eyepiece holder. So if your binoculars are using 1.25 eyepieces currently - this would connect to them (obviously through only one of the oculars)

A: Think of the NexImage 5 Solar System Imager as an electronic eyepiece. The software also delivers the ability to manually change the gain, contrast, exposure time, frame rate and color saturation of the camera through the computer.

Q: 10. We are using AIDA Imaging UHD6G-200 4K which recommend a 8mp resolving capability for usable lenses. Will this line work and meet those qualifications?

[0.72 mm] This little lens works beautifully despite being stretched beyond its specified performance -- in our case used as a proof-of-concept lab lens on a 1" type sensor with 2 megapixel resolution. This lens is tiny, well constructed and easy to use while delivering more than acceptable performance. Works like a charm. 5

[6 µm] These Fujinon lenses are a great value for machine vision applications. They are sharp and fast and with the set screws, they can be set and locked in place for exposure and focus. 5

[C-Mount] Amazing image quality. Practically no barrel or pincushion distortion. Perfect for my robot. Even with a 1 image sensor, there's only a small area in the corners that's not covered by the image circle, even though the lens is rated for 2/3 sensors. I just wish there was an option for frictionless focus and iris setting, so I wouldn't need to take the lens apart and modify it for my motorized focus+iris rig. 5
