[Steel, Plastic] This stand folds up so compactly that it can be taken anywhere. Just about every type of usage has been taken into consideration and it is fully adjustable for different angles of usage. The materials are sturdy yet lightweight and there are rubber feet for non-skid grip as well, for surface protection on both the table/counter contact points and the back of the phone or tablet. Additionally, there is an Arca Swiss plate built in, in order to be able to mount it on a tripod if needed. All in all an incredibly well thought out stand that suits all my usage needs at home and on the go. 5

[Steel, Plastic] I bought a couple of different cheap tablet holders before this. This seems to be the best and I'm using the iPad Pro clamping it onto a tripod or light stand and sometimes a cart I use on location. It's very stable and well made. The only thing which might be a wearing point are the arms which extend to attach to the corners. But they will probably do better with the slightly flexible design rather than being hard which would likely break over time. There's lots of easy adjustment. Even the clips which fit over the tablet has an adjustment for thickness. It holds very well onto any type of stand. I liked it enough to buy a second one. 5

[3.5 lb] This unit is built well, and works for me with my Smartphone and Tablet mainly the Smartphone of 3.5 inches width X 6 5/16th inches Length. I like the fact it is made of metal and not plastic, nice and sturdy. 5
