$179.85 $257.19

This GyroVu 7" Articulated Arm Mount Adjustable Clamp Quick Releasecomes with a jaw clamp and a two-part quick release attachment. The top plate of the quick release screws onto your monitor via a 1/4"-20 interface, and you can then quickly attach or remove your monitor, releasing it at the pull of a slide button. You can also mount LED lights and other devices. The jaw clamp can grip onto gimbal tubes, tripod legs, table edges, and other objects matching its clamping range of 0.5 to 1.5". It's secured by a T-handle and is rubber-padded to prevent twisting and scratching.

The articulating arm is 7" long fully extended and has a native 1/4"-20 stud on each end, to which the clamp and quick release secure. The center mechanism uses rosettes for locking the arm, preventing slipping due to wear or insufficient tightening. A wingnut in the center tightens all three joints of the arm at the same time.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the maximum length of this fully extended and the individual length of each arm?

A: Fully extended it is about a 6 length. The two arms are about 3 .

Q: 2. Will this work on a crane weight bar?

A: Yes 100 %. The following unit offers a clamping range of 0.5 to 1.5"

Q: 3. What is the max capacity that this arm can hold? Would a EOS R with a 35 mm Sigma lens be too heavy?

A: A load capacity for this arm is not listed. However it is really designed for accessories only and we do not recommend it with a camera the size of the EOS R. The Impact 3 Section Double Articulated Arm with Camera Bracket, BH #IMBHE119K, and a Impact Clamp would be a much better choice, BH #IMCC106R. https://bhpho.to/3oYTlGM https://bhpho.to/2Y8DWbb

Q: 4. would this fit on a Schatler ACE xl?

A: Yes it will. You will be able to clamp this product to the Ace XL Tripod System.

Q: 5. Will this arm support a mirrorless camera (i.e. Sony A6500) ?

A: The Magic Arm is rated for 5 lb load. The clamp, depending or the position can handle up to 2-4 points. We we think it will support Sony A6500. Sincerely, GyroVu Team

Q: 6. Will this attach to a tripod leg and other end hold 7 inch field monitor? Also will monitor be adjustable ( tilt up and down)?Thank you

A: Yes, this will attach to most tripod legs. The principle advantage of articulating arms is that they are completely flexible. So yes, you will be able to place the monitor in any position.

Q: 7. would this 11" arm be good for mounting a Godox M1 (B&H # GOM1) to something like an oben Table top tripod (BH #OBTT100)? I don't want to use something ridiculously large like a full blown cstand/lightstand/camera tripod to mount a 1/2 lb godox M1 unit, but would like more angle and height versatility, that presumably a 11" arm would give. But not sure if it's a wise way to get there, if the 11" arm would be too top heavy for the oben tabletop tripod/tip over, etc. I would be looking to use it in vehicle interiors and behind subjects of a greenscreen to create separation. I find having the tabletop pod on the floor or on a carseat isnt verstatile enough (light looks too underlit and unnatural) and don't have places to clamp the godox m1 inside a car without damaging cars i don't own, etc. And similarly, the angle of the light for backlighting a subject to create separation w a greenscreen isn't high off the ground enough to get an effective wrap around a seated subject, if am just using the tripod on the floor. Plus it would be great to be able to angle the light to fine tune a greenscreen key, etc.

A: The Manfrotto 209 Tabletop Tripod (BH #MA209), would be more suitable to support the Gyrovu Heavy-Duty Articulated Arm (11-), as it has a much higher load capacity. You may also want to consider a small sandbag for further reaches of the arm with the Godox M1 light. https://bhpho.to/3CWx6en

Q: 8. Can you remove the shoe mount to have 1/4-20 at each end?

A: Yes, the hot shoe mount can be unscrewed.

Q: 9. I’m looking to find an articulated arm that will hold the monitor for the c200 when in the Crane 3s - would I be able to make something like this work?

A: yes this would work as long as it's clamped to the handle or the gimbal

Q: 10. Does this unit include the screw to mount to a camera bottom?

A: Yes

[0.95 lb] The GyroVu Heavy-Duty Dual 11 Articulated Arms with Adjustable Clamp works great. When you set it up, tighten the joints a little, so it's easier to position. I'm only putting a small webcam on it but it seems very sturdy and stays in place. I was the perfect solution for my Ben Q monitor that did not have a built in webcam (I attached it to the stand handle.) I use another articulated arm for a light overhead of the webcam but this articulated arm is by far a preferable choice. Great little arm, so glad I bought it, it was the perfect choice for my situation and I looked at a number of options.

[3] I use this clamp to old small pieces as I'm welding together yard art. You can reach multiple areas from one clamping position. A real time saver.

[3] Bought two of these to mount halves of an ergonomic keyboard to (yeah, also need tablet mounts to actually hold the keyboard halves). Rock solid platform even with me mashing on the keys all day.

[0.95 lb] After much research, I chose this GyroVu Dual 7 inch Arm over the Manfrotto 244 Micro Friction Arm (which I really liked) for several reasons - and now Im so glad I did. First, I felt Manfrottos 6 inch arm might be too limited in some uses and wanted to have as much angular adjustment as possible. Second, I wanted length but not at the expense of real load-bearing. Third, I wanted heavy-duty all-metal construction throughout. Finally, I didnt want to pay a lot for an item I might not use very often. While the quality of the Manfrotto arm was excellent (as usual) the GyroVu bested it in all my other requirements. Pre-purchase, my only concern was in how the articulated joints tightened and whether theyd hold up under load. I was surprised to find that as you tighten the red knobs at the central joints, the arms internally lock the balls in their sockets. This allows maximum freedom of flex and rotation along the entire length of the arm. Coupled with its heavy-duty all-metal clamp, which can open and grip a surface up to 1-1/2 inches, I can use this outdoors on a fence or railing or inside on a light stand or shelf to hold an off-camera flash or a large translucent diffuser without needing an assistant. Loosened up and folded compactly, the GyroVu arm is pretty easy to pack although it does weigh a bit. In the end, I got the quality and versatility I was looking for and saved $50 over the cost of the Manfrotto arm. Im very happy with this product and highly recommend it!

[3] It is interesting to consider everywhere you can attach this and snake the camera into position. For desktop application it allows me to place a camera behind my monitor without impacting desk space as it is clamped to the monitor's base. It is long and can be difficult to get where you want so I recommend adjusting a segment to approx where you will want it and tighten and then do the same to the other side, then slightly loosen until it can be moved into its final position but not be a complete wet noodle. I am so glad I got this over a tripod for my desk cam.
