Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Which on-ground spreader would suit this model?

A: The correct ground spreader for this tripod is the Sachtler 7023 Cine HD Ground-Level Spreader. Please see below.

Q: 2. What is the front diameter for this lens cover? 114mm?

A: The front diameter is 95mm.

Q: 3. Will this fit and eos r6 with a 24-70 lens attached?

A: No, the LensCoat BodyBag R Camera Cover for Canon R/R5/R6 with Optional Grip is meant to hold a camera of that size with a grip, but without a lens. For the Canon EOS R6 Mirrorless Camera with the Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8 L IS USM Lens, a better option would be the LensCoat BodyBag Compact with Lens (Black), BH #LELCBBCLBK (https://bhpho.to/41VMIJH).

Q: 4. Do I need to use the Sachtler Adapter 100/150 with this tripod to mount the Sachtler Video 18 S2 Fluid Head? Thanks

A: yes, as Video 18 is 100 mm head and Cine 2000k has a 150 mm bowl

Q: 5. On an FX6, will this accommodate a shotgun mic, viewfinder, and wireless transmitter? What does the hot shoe connect to?

A: The Sachtler SR415 Rain Cover for Medium-Sized Video Cameras offers room for a shotgun microphone, and screen, and wireless transmitter, but not necessarily an evf. The coldshoe is supported by a rigid frame and the camera beneath. Sachtler designed this rain cover more for medium sized camcorders.

Q: 6. Will this work with a Panasonic AG-AC90?

A: This caover would be too big for the AG-AC90. We would suggest the Sachtler SR410 Raincover for Small Video Cameras B&H # SARCVCS instead. We have not tested this one but it should work. If not your can return it. Here is a case that we know will work. Porta Brace Quick-Slick Rain Cover for Panasonic AG-AC90 B&H # POQSMAC90

Q: 7. can I fit a nikon D6 body with 70-200mm lens?

A: Yes this bag will fit the Nikon D6 with the 70-200mm lens.

Q: 8. On the Tripod- What is the minimum spread width of the back two tripod feet?

A: You can spread the feet as little as you'd like but the less you spread them the less stable the Sachtler Cine 7+7 FT MS flowtech 100 Tripod System will be.

Q: 9. Is there a hole to let a shoulder belt through?

A: The Sachtler SR425 Rain Cover for Full-Sized Broadcast Cameras is open on the bottom so you can easily mount/dismount a VCT tripod plate.

Q: 10. How about a camera like the Canon XF-300 or the XF 705?

A: This should fit those cameras but for better comfort and space, we would recommend the larger option from Sachtler... https://bhpho.to/34TfXQq

[42 x 11 x 11"] Proper underwater photography isn't easy. On land, the gear is very heavy and large. Consider the camera. A DSLR in a professional housing is easily more than a foot wide and 8 inches tall. Each lens also has its own port which ranges from 4 to 8 inches in diameter. Add to this the strobes, which are the size of a studio strobe, and you need at least two of them. Now, all this stuff has to fit into a bag that is portable. The best underwater photography in the world is often in remote places. Think Borneo, Sulawesi, Dauin, and Papua New Guinea. Not easy places to get to. You often have to be able to move the gear into and off of small boats, tricycles, truck beds, and other Asian transportation inventions. This bag has proven to be very adept at transporting my photo gear around the world. It's taken knocks, drops, and some minor spray with aplomb.

[Universal] Im quite surprised by the negative reviews. We have several of these in our school and none of them got ever broken. And I have to say our students are savages, they manage to break everything... :)

[Handle] The Sachtler Campack Plus is built very strong and holds a lot of weight. I probably have 40-45 lbs in this guy and could take more. Had it for about 6 months now without any issues with tearing or scuffs. This pack is a beast meant condensing the number of bags you would normally have to carry for bigger shoots.

[Handle] I bought this backpack for my FX6 and while it's not a perfect fit with the hand grip attached, it works for me. The backpack comes with a ton of storage for lav mics, batteries, lenses, wires, laptop and miscellaneous items. The best part is that when you close the backpack, everything stays secure in place. I've tried other bags (won't name names) and my camera never felt secure. I would recommend this backpack for smaller cinema cameras and definitely DSLRs.

[Handle] Much of the photo/video backpacks out there fit into two categories: light hiking backpacks with protective features for gear, and urban messenger bags with dividers for small cameras and lenses. But what about professionals who want to safely carry large gear around town, but not necessarily on a safari excursion? This is where this bag shines. It's big enough to carry video cameras such as the Sony FS7 or Canon Cinema cameras, plus lenses and other accessories, along with a tripod, monopod, or light stands on the side. The dividers inside are customizable, and the bag opens up from the top, which allows you to set the bag down and access all of your gear conveniently. The bag has a semi-rigid shell all around for protection, and the padded backside and straps makes it a very comfortable carry for long periods of time. I've carried around an assembled C100 with 4-5 lenses, interview audio kit, an LED light (in the large front pocket) and a light stand, plus batteries and chargers and everything needed for an all-day documentary shoot. The only potential downside is that the semi-rigid shell makes this backpack firmly maintain its big size no matter what you put in it, so it could be overkill when you only need to carry small gear. But there are tons of other messenger-style bags for those days. For the times when you need to carry large gear around town, on your back rather in suitcases, the Campack is perfect.

[Handle] For years I've been dragging my large heavy camera bag through airports, domestically and internationally, with a separate expandable cart. It was usually unbalanced and a problem when traveling alone. Then, voil, I saw the bag of my dreams on B%H: the Sachtler Camera Rollpak!! It's a camera bag with a pull handle as part of it! The fabric is high quality, it fits all my gear and does come with back pack straps! I do highly recommend this product. I also purchased the lock that was recommended!

[Universal] Very well built and large. Much better than my CineBag. I can fit an entire FX6 kit in it. Straps and waist belt are high quality.
I wish the styling was a little nicer but it's a perfect bag functionally.

[Universal] You have an investment in your lighting gear; do not waste your money on a inexpensive stand. I use this stand with the PhotoFlex 7' octodome with grid. I do not have to use any sand bags. This stand is a very stable platform for any large soft box. I buy Bogen products because they will out last me; your children will use this stand long after you are gone.

[Empty] Great backpack, a bit larger than I expected when I purchased, which makes it not much of a plane travel backpack for me, but not necessarily a bad thing. Deep interior, so able to pack things upright to allow for more room for other things. Can fit my FX6 in it without the top handle perfectly fine. Exterior seems pretty durable and zippers feel very smooth and efficient when using. Only thing I wish it had was bigger side bottle holders pockets and more interior pockets for small accessories. But it is as advertised and what is there, is sachtler quality.

[Empty] I purchased this stand because I broke my old Calumet version of the stand. I wanted the same stand. This is an updated version of my original stand.
I use this to put an LED Fresnel light on, a large LED panel light, plus as the stand for my boom arm. It is lightweight yet heavy duty. It is made of aluminum with steel cross braces. I like having a good stand with wheels for my LED panel light because it makes it easy to move around on a busy shoot.
I like that this stand has both the universal mount with 1 1/8 Junior receiver plus pop-up 5/8 stud.
This newer version of the stand also features a leveling leg. I haven't used this feature before, but it might come in handy when outdoors on uneven ground.
I have really liked this stand and use it frequently. I also like that it accepts wheels. There is a small indentation at the bottom of the leg that matches with a small nub on the wheels, so when attached the wheels don't rotate on the leg. This stand works very well with wheels.
I find it to be sturdy enough for my use and yet light weight enough to carry easily. The price at B&H is also very good, which makes it a great value. I'm glad I purchased this light.
