[SFP] This converter did everything we hoped it would do. It takes HDMI video/audio, that is not DHCP protected, and converts it to HDSDI with embedded audio. The installation is a breeze and the unit can be installed and operational in less than 30 minutes. Remember - your source material cannot be HDCP protected!

[0.075 lb] After a really long search I finally found a box that will allow me to run GoPros over a long 50 foot SDI cable at 1080p 30 and 60 fps for live streaming. The ATEM did not want to except the Go Pro over HDMI cat 5 extender or AVUE hdmi to sdi converter. I believe it goes into the ATEM at 1080i from the AJA which is why the others were not working as they ouput 1080p though I can't really put my finger on it as my Nikon D5200 worked with the other boxes just not the Go Pro, but HURRAY IT WORKS!!!! I am wondering if Go Pros work with the new Black Magic 4k HDMI to SDI mini converter and the ATEM TV as I don't think they work with the older Black Magic converter going into a ATEM TV, they are a bit cheaper than the AJA. Please let me know if anyone has tested a GO PRO and the Black Magic 4k miniconverter HDMI to SDI converter into the ATEM TV. Cheers!

[0.075 lb] I purchased this product to record HD news coverage of events pertaining to my work so I could include the coverage in various video programs. I connected the converter to a cable box and and a DVCPro-HD deck. It works beautifully! Both video and audio are indistinguishable from the original signal coming from the cable box.

[0.075 lb] I have purchased 1 set of these to replace coax SDI lines we needed to remove in favor of fiber. So far my initial tests are good. We are just using it for HD-SDI, but If they continue to work, I will purchase another set and this will give us 6 transmit and 6 receive signals on each end of our link using 4 strands of single mode fiber. They are virtually silent except a small fan on the side and use locking screw on power cables which is nice to prevent loss of power from a connector getting pulled out. Also they are VERY small and compact. We will use heavy duty Velcro to hold them on a rack shelf long term.
You can't beat that capacity for the price.
