The Cooke 18mm T2.0 S7/i Full Frame Prime Lens PL Mountis designed to cover full frame cinema camera sensors up to at least the full sensor area of the RED Weapon 8K (46.31mm image circle). It is color-matched to other Cooke lenses to keep that well-known Cooke look, and has focus markings on both sides of the lens. A cam-type focus mechanism with a large lens barrel diameter and 270° of rotation from end-stop to end-stop allows for precision focus markings, especially at close focus.

The lens features a PL mount, which makes it compatible with most commonly used professional motion picture film and electronic cameras, and has an aperture range of T2.0 to T22. The PL mount incorporates i/Technology contacts that feed lens information metadata to a compatible camera, including focus distance, aperture and depth-of-field.

[4.33" (110 mm)] I recently purchased the 7artisans Photoelectric 35mm T2.0 Spectrum Prime Cine Lens for my L Mount camera, and I couldn't be more impressed. This lens truly delivers exceptional quality at an unbeatable price point.

First and foremost, the image quality is outstanding. The sharpness and clarity it provides are remarkable, capturing every detail with precision. Whether I'm shooting landscapes, portraits, or close-up shots, the results are consistently stunning. The T2.0 aperture also allows for beautiful bokeh, adding a professional touch to my videos.

What sets this lens apart is its cine lens design. The focus and aperture rings are smooth and well-damped, offering precise control for cinematic effects. The build quality is impressive, with a robust construction that feels durable yet lightweight, perfect for long shooting sessions.

Another highlight is its versatility. The 35mm focal length is ideal for a wide range of shooting scenarios, making it a go-to lens for both beginners and experienced videographers alike. Whether I'm shooting in low light conditions or bright outdoor settings, this lens performs admirably every time.

Moreover, the L Mount compatibility ensures seamless integration with my camera system, allowing for effortless use and quick setup. It's evident that 7artisans has crafted a lens that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of filmmakers.

In conclusion, the 7artisans Photoelectric 35mm T2.0 Spectrum Prime Cine Lens is a fantastic investment for anyone looking to elevate their videography game without breaking the bank. With its exceptional quality, cine lens design, and unbeatable value for money, it's a must-have addition to any gear bag. Highly recommended!

[9.39 lb] Bought this for my Sony FX3, and it looks amazing for the price. I plan on buying the entire set of Spectrums. Solid lens, looks great and feels quality in build as well.

[9.39 lb] This lens was a pleasant surprise. Really good sharpness & color. Amazing build quality. And the gears turn very smooth & with the perfect rotation amount. Yes, there's some breathing, but with some post work that can be corrected. And they do flare with a strong light source when wide open, but not overdone. Just the right amount of character & sharpness I feel between modern & vintage glass.

[9.39 lb] I bought the 35 and 50mm Spectrum full frame primes and I'll likely be rounding out the set after seeing them in action on my Lumix S5. They're sharp but not clinical, and they intercut almost perfectly with my go-to run and gun lens, the Contax Zeiss 28-85 zoom. Soft, natural flares when shooting directly into a light source. They're cheap from a price perspective, but certainly not in build quality -- they're built like tanks.

[18mm] I bought a set of Viltrox anamorphic lenses, which are amazing, but I wanted something smaller and lighter for my FX6/Ronin 4D. These Blazar lenses are a lot of fun. I only have the 65 so far, which I find wide enough for most situations without having the issues in the corners that the 45 had. Waiting to try out their new ones, I just need something slightly wider and another slightly tighter. Waiting to hear what they say about the new additions.

[4.33" (110 mm)] Love this lens! But I have it setup with the DJI Lidar RS as well and haven't used it on it's own outside of basic testing.

The lens itself is very nice - solid construction with a decent front loaded weight, and an easy enough to balance shimming system for mount swapping. The glass offers a lot of character with minor fringing and fairly low distortion, get it for that classic softer cine look and don't expect it to be the cleanest/sharpest lens around. I personally love how it rolls off the highlights and still gives details in the skin but also a bit of softness, when paired with my c70.

All that said, I bought this lens as part of a whole setup to solve a specifc problem, and for that purpose I couldn't be happier! I shoot mainly with a c70 in solo operating conditions as a b-cam op. This lens not only solves most of my focusing issues, but it also serves as the fastest setup with it's auto calibration feature when paired with DJI's Lidar RS. Now I get a decent jump in hitting focus while in auto via the Lidar mod, and I have the added benefit of more unique cine lens look vs my native Canon DSLR glass. It's awesome, and has performed perfectly for me so far! I only wish that they'd release a wider 21mm Cyber or maybe a 16 or 18 instead.
