[VMN60SLC] It change the sound! This is really the best!

[VMN60SLC] I was skeptical that I'd hear a big difference by switching to this cartridge, however it did not disappoint! I find it very hard to A/B audio sources when there's more than about a minute between A and B, but despite my further skepticism that I would, I did! I noticed a richer and more detailed sound.


The headshell supplied with my LP3 has extremely tiny leads, and I had to use tweezers. My advice would be to have just the ONE cup of coffee until after the surgery is complete. Only minor nit, sounding great and has me spinning vinyls every single day.

[460 mH (1 kHz)] I needed a cartridge for an old Pioneer TT, and this one came up as recommended. I'm no expert, but it certainly sounds better than what it replaced, and at a nice price point.

[1/2"] This cartridge transformed my turntable! The vinyl sounds full and completely different from my old cartridge. I think the shibota needle helps make a huge difference. It gets into grooves that have never been used. The clarity is amazing!!

[23°] It took a long time to get here, but I'm very happy with the performance. Well known for its high frequency reproduction - this follows that same trend - but also has great balance across the spectrum. I tested this on a brand new copy of Sade - Promise from the box set. Blew me away. Highly recommended if you're on a budget but still want audiophile quality.

[20 Hz to 30 kHz] Installed for a friend who was replacing his original cartridge on his Denon DP-300 turntable. It sounds a lot better than the original. Stereo separation and depth, sound stage. Lighter tracking force, 2.0 g. Elliptical has more detail than the original conical stylus. Had the correct mounting screws. I gave it a 5 because it did more than I expected for it's budget price. If this were my turntable I go to the $200 price range cartridge's for even better sound.

[VMN60SLC] The quality of the sound in my Thorens turntable is the best it’s ever been. Even the oldest vinyl sounds wonderful. I’m hearing rich and beautiful sound exactly as it was created, noticing instruments I hadn’t even heard before.

[VMN60SLC] My turntable came with the AT-VM95E and when it was ready for a replacement, I decided to upgrade. I didn't think there would be much difference but high vocals really came through cleaner than the previous. Overall I could tell a difference and the extra cost was definitely worth it, especially considering it lasts longer than the VM95E.

[0.395 lb] Upgraded my new Yamaha TT-S303. I your in that better than average, but not super expensive, turntable price range this is a great choice.

[47 kOhms] I bought this to replace the original cartridge for a Music Hall mmf 2.2 turntable. As noted in the description, the cartridge is threaded, and the tiny bolts don't need any nuts to secure them. This simplifies the installation. The simplicity of the Music Hall turntable also makes alignment and tracking force easy to set up. I could have shopped for a more expensive cartridge, but didn't want to spend more than the initial cost of the turntable. I'm very pleased with the tracking and sound quality of this cartridge. I'm running the turntable with a very nice old Marantz 2770 receiver.
