The Gold Mount to V-Mount Battery Plate Converter - IndiPRO Toolslets you use Gold mount batteries on devices that have a V-mount plate. To use it, simply snap it onto the V-mount plate as you would mount a battery. The converter also offers a D-Tap output on the top right for simultaneously powering accessories.

[Gold Mount] I don't want to spend outrageous money for a V-Mount solution. If I did video/cinematography as a pro, then yes. For me it's a hobby. I was able to do some elegant jury rigging, and fit a much less costly, high power battery solution on my BMPCC4K rig, for about 1/5th the price of v mount. 5

[12 to 16 VDC ] For whatever reason Blackmagic designed their camera and plate to trigger a power reset when switching between rec/playback. This has caused some major problems for me on set when trying to power accessories through the d-tap port, I would switch between the two at the directors request and suddenly my follow focus and transmitter were off and I didn't understand why. Fortunately IndiPRO's plate solves this! Due to it's design the d-tap gets power directly from the battery, so no power shut offs. Now I can power all my accessories through a d-tap splitter and not worry about a thing. I can definitely recommend this to any Ursa Mini/Pro owners out there who are experiencing the same issues I was! 5

[12 to 16 VDC ] We often have a mobile camera on our productions and having to mount our gold mount batteries with zip ties wasn't the ideal scenario, especially if we had to change mid-show. This mounted to our rig easily and makes it easy to swap out and doesn't offset the balance. The flexibility of mounting options also helps us both access other screws on the rig if needed and doesn't lock us into a specific orientation. Add a power adapter or two for your devices (which we did), and this little piece of engineering becomes one of your new best friends. Sometimes simple really is best. 5
