Blend into the background while photographing wildlife with the forest green camo LensCoat LensHide Water-Repellent Photo Blind Forest Green Camofrom LensCoat. Made of a water-repellent fabric, this photo blind comes with an elastic cinch cord for the camera lens and a camo mesh window so the photographer can view the subject. A slot with hook-and-loop closure allows for use of an external flash. Draped in the LensHide, you can adjust your equipment without your movements being seen. The blind stays in place by means of a hook-and-loop closure at the back of the head. It comes with an integrated storage pouch with D-rings and an internal accessory pocket. Three, water-repellent YKK zippers help keep you and your gear dry while also providing easy access. Made in the U.S.A.

Q: 1. Is length of LegCushion pad on each leg really 24"? Please check again. Doesn't look that long in video.

A: Once installed the LensCoat LegCushion will measure about 10-10.5 inches down each tripod leg.

Q: 2. What is the difference between tall and normal Lens Hide version ?

A: The dimensions of the normal is 77"x68" and the Tall is 89"x68".

Q: 3. Anybody use this with a Nikkor 70-200mm 2.8? and how bad is the vignette problem?

A: The LensCoat TravelHood (Small, Black) was made for larger lenses like the Nikon 300mm f2.8 or 200-400mm f4. It would be too big to fit a 70-200mm.

Q: 4. Will this fit on my Gitzo GT5543XLS with LensCoat LegCoat Wrap 518?

A: The LensCoat LegCushion (Realtree Max4) fits the Gitzo GT5543XLS Systematic Series 5 Carbon Fiber Tripod with the LensCoat LegCoat Wraps 518.

Q: 5. Will this fit over tripod leg protectors from Lens Coat and still support holding the tripod ?

A: According to Lenscoat's website it is shown in use without the leg protectors. I do not think the velcro attachment from the leg cushion will wrap firmly around the the leg with a protector on.

Q: 6. Would this fit over a Sigma contemporary 150-600 lens? What about smaller telephotos such as under 105mm?

A: Yes, the LensCoat LensHide Water-Repellent Photo Blind is a good option for the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens. It is a but cumbersome to use with shorter lenses like 105mm, but it is possible.

Q: 7. Are there issues with the plastic window being hard to see out of?

A: The mesh window works well for the photographer to see the subject but still be hidden.

Q: 8. I am a 5'7" woman. Is this blind tall enough to stand comfortably in, or do I need to go with the tall version?

A: This product is 77" which is about 6'4" so it will definitely be large enough for you.

Q: 9. Can you do hand held photography, with this blind, or must you use a tripod?

A: Yes, a photographer can use the Lens Coat Photo Blind in a handheld position but we highly recommend using with a tripod for a better end-user experience.

Q: 10. will this fit the sony 70-200 f4?

A: This would not be a good fit. All the sizes of the LensCoat TravelHood are made for larger lenses than the Sony FE 70-200mm f/4 .

[2.85 lb] I've only had a chance to do a test set up and it looks very good. Only complaint is that the carrying case should be a separate piece. Otherwise a good blind! 5

[2.85 lb] I purchased this last summer and it amazing. I was with-in 100' of a coyote family and, while they knew somethings was there, the never recognized me as a threat and I was able to photograph them for about 10 minutes. 5

[2.85 lb] This hide is compact, super light and easy to use, so i have it in the car all the time. It works well for wildlife situations where you can't set up or leave a structured blind in place or its too far to carry a big blind. You can use it standing or sitting. It won't hide all your movement so you do need to be careful but most of the time you just need to look not like a person for wildlife to accept. 5

[2.85 lb] I have only used the LensHide Photo Blind twice so far and it is a blast! It would probably get hot if you used it in the sun during the summer otherwise it's very comfortable. Fairly easy to use and the best part is it works! I have been able to setup with twenty feet of several bird feeders. Looking forward to using this quite frequently this fall and next spring. 5

[2.85 lb] Make sure you need the water repellent type as it get very hot inside. Impossible to use in Texas summers. I assume their other model is more breathable 5
