The QSC TouchMix-30 Pro 32-Channel Digital Mixer Kitfrom QSC TouchMix-30 Pro 32-Channel Digital Mixer Kitis a 32-input digital mixer featuring 24 built-in mic/line preamplifiers, six stereo 1/4" inputs, a stereo 1/8" input, all of which can be controlled by its integrated touchscreen or wirelessly via an iOS or Android device connected to the same wireless network. The mixer features a DSP-based 4-band parametric EQ with variable high- and low-pass filters, a gate, and compressor on each input channel. The TM-30's DSP also provides reverb, echo, delay, and chorus effects in addition to assignable pitch correction.

All of the outputs feature 1/3 octave graphic equalizers, 6-band parametric EQ, plus limiters, delay, and 12-band notch filters. Additionally, eight sub-groups are provided, each with 6-band full parametric EQ, variable high- and low-pass filters and limiters. Two full-featured Real Time Analyzers (RTA) help identify problem frequencies, while the integrated Wizards provide anti-feedback, room tuning, gain, and effects. The mixer is also capable of 32 channels of bidirectional multitrack recording with sampling frequencies up to 48 kHz to an optional external USB hard drive.

A: This will not work as an interface to your DAW. You can record to an external USB hard drive and drag your files into your workstation at a later tme.

A: This PreSonus StudioLive 32S Series III S 32-Channel Digital Mixer does have 32 mic inputs, which you can use to connect wireless microphone systems.

A: The PreSonus StudioLive 32S Series III S would certainly be capable of handling 32 wireless microphones, as well as many more input types. It is also able to be networked with stage boxes, monitor mixers, and more devices via AVB, making it ideal for live stage applications.

Q: 8. Does it generate a 1k tone for setting audio levels on an HD video camera?

A: At this time the QSC Touchmix-16 has no integrated tone generator available.

Q: 9. Is there or will there be an app for iphone?

A: At this time remote control of the QSC Touchmix-16 via the iOS app is only available for iPad and iPad mini. Unfortunately QSC has made no mention of expanding this to the iPhone at this time.

A: The Touchmix 16 has a RTA Analyzer, but does not have the Room Tuning Capabilities the TM30 has.

[32] I had a Touchmix 16 but needed more channels. It was a no-brained to step up to the premier QSC mixer. The layout is so easy to navigate and it’s extremely powerful. My business has moved to streaming meetings that sometimes require 16-20 open mics. The Touchmix-30’s built in gates help me keep them under control. IT JUST WORKS! 5

[-86 dBu ] These things are dirt simple to install. Remove three screws on each side of the mixer and replace with the longer provided ones. Very secure means of mounting to a mixer rack. 5

[-86 dBu ] I bought a second TouchMix-16 so I would have one for performance and one for practice/backup. I have been very happy with the product. This one came with firmware version 1 which needed to be updated to avoid recording problems. It is not difficult to update the firmware. I would suggest using a solid state drive for recording if you are going to travel with it because it won't require special handling. 5

[2x USB Return] I recently worked a package deal out with B&H for a QSC Touchmix-30 mixer and case that couldn’t be met by any other dealer out there. I also bought the tablet support stand with it. I own the other Touchmix mixers (the -16 and -8) but the -30 gives me the added expansion space I need as a writer, along with the additional features that aren’t found on any other mixers out there like the ability to interface directly with my ProTools iOS control surface and being able to use the experience QSC built in to the 120 Channel Presets as starting points for development of my projects. This is serious equipment made by serious engineers for serious musicians and to accept anything less than the standard QSC offers in this product is to cut short your creatively. 5

[44.1 / 48 kHz] This is simply the best combination of price, capability and small footprint at any price. To date, I have not used it with iPad remote, which is to say that everything I've done with it involved using the physical controls on the device. At roughly the size of a 17 notebook computer, the number of channels and Aux outputs is amazing. The degree of control--EQ, compression, etc., is spectacular. The biggest downside, as is the case with larger console mixers, too, is the fact that if you're using most of the channels, you will have to toggle screens. But in real life, I've been able to do this easily enough. Mute groups can be assigned to numerous dedicated physical button mute groups. Plugging in a high-speed hard drive or bus-powered USB 3 SSD allows separate recording of all channels for virtually unlimited remixing options after a gig or if someone wanted to use this for a studio session. I found this item nearly accidentally, since QSC is not known for mixers so much as PA speakers. This item is without any direct competitor, and the quality and functionality are spectacular. 5

[14] Recently purchased this mixer for our duo. Found it to be the best mixer we've used so far in the last 5 years. Perfect for our application. Easy to set up. In addition to the great product, QSC has the best support. A couple of minor questions and when I called the 800 number my questions were answered immediately. Still more to learn but after 2 weeks we love this mixer! 5
