The Cavision Lens Hood 127mm Metal Filter Thread 100mm Lensfrom Cavision Lens Hood 127mm Metal Filter Thread 100mm Lensis a small, lightweight rubber hood for lenses with an outer diameter of up to 100mm. It features a 120mm rear lens opening and includes a 120 to 100mm adapter ring. This allows you to thread the adapter ring onto your lens with a 100mm front filter thread and then clamp the lens hood into the adapter for a secure fit. This makes it simple to share the lens hood among multiple lenses with additional separately purchased adapter rings. Additionally, the front of the lens hood has an integrated 127mm thread for accepting filters.

[5.71 oz / 162 g] Love it...replaces annoying plastic tulip lens hood and plastic lens cap. I use Heliopan lens hoods with a small step up ring...more for cosmetic reasons and then add a Lens Coat hoodie cover on top for even more protection.....need to measure carefully to get correct LensCoat Hood cover....but they are not that expensive. 5

[Rubber] High quality item. Works with a 75mm lens on an APS-C camera without vignetting. A big advantage of the Heliopan hood over the comparable B W hood is that you can use a lens cap without having to remove the hood. The B W hood does not accept a cap either on the end of the hood or the front of the lens. 5

[0.63 lb] This Kalt 62mm metal hood works very nicely with step-up rings. When attached to the lens, I use a snap-on lens cap to keep the dust out. I found the Nikon LC-67 snap-on cap fits snugly into this 62mm Kalt hood. No mistake, LC-67mm into Kalt-62mm...Eureka!. 5

[Rubber] Purchased this item for my cine-modded lenses to extend the barrel. Helps create space between the mattebox and the follow focus for smaller lenses. Also I'm glad the front still has 77mm threads, which allows screw-on filters. 5

[0.63 lb] This metal hood is a great alternative to the supplied lens hood for the Fuji XF 23mm lens, which makes the lens look too bulky. It also has a less intrusive look than the original lens hood, making it less intimidating for people when you take their pictures. Having said that, his hood causes a tiny amount of vignetting on the Fuji XF 23mm lens when you mount it on top top of a standard UV protective filter. To prevent vignetting, use a super slip profile UV filter on your XF 23mm lens. 5
