A: Generally, the lens hood would be a bit wider than the filter thread size of a lens. With regards to the ALC-SH150, it would fit on the outer bayonet mount around the front element.

A: The lens cap its self does not accept filters, the filter must be installed on the lens.

[0.23 lb] I bought this to replace my cracked RX10 Mk IV lens hood. I’ve been using it for several weeks now and have noticed no loosening or other problems. One thing I noticed is that it doesn’t align perfectly when screwed on (maybe off by 5 degrees from vertical) but that doesn’t bother me too much. It is larger than the factory RX10 hood, so it’s a little harder to zip my bag closed. Great replacement product overall. 5
