A: The Maya44 ex is currently only listed as compatible with Mac OS 11 and earlier, and only with Intel-based machines (not M2 or M1).

Q: 2. Will it work with the ATEM video switchers and software as well in live video production?

A: The Blackmagic Design Fairlight Desktop Console USB Control Surface is meant for post-production use with Davinci's Fairlight software. As it is a USB control surface it could potentially be used with other software, but would depend on the compatibility and control mapping capabilities of the software.

Q: 3. is this card compatible with windows 11?

A: No. The Digigram VX222e PCIe Digital Audio Card is compatible for use with Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016. It is not compatible for use with Windows 11.

Q: 4. Do I need the Fairlight HDMI Monitor Interface to use a computer monitor?

A: No the Blackmagic Design Fairlight Desktop Console USB Control Surface already has an HDMI output to add a monitor.

Q: 5. Is this backwards compatible with USB 3.0 (USB A)?

A: Yes, that should work.

Q: 6. Will it work with other DAWs? Or it's Fairlight controller only?

A: It would be nice to have compatibility with other DAWS. Then the price is worth buying it. (I'm musician and video editor). .

A: A DaVinci Resolve Studio license is not included with the Blackmagic Design Fairlight Desktop Console USB Control Surface.

Q: 8. Will this controller work with ProTools?

A: No, the Blackmagic Design Fairlight Desktop Console USB Control Surface is not compatible for use with Pro Tools or any software other than Resolve Fairlight.

[0.88 lb] Like the other Blackmagic Mini Converters it's a simple solution. Not unlike it's counterparts the USB connection offers some good controls like level sliders for each input. A great feature of these and the other BM Mini Converters with audio inputs is not only the ability to take in AES but when in that mode they can also accept coaxial SPDIF with a simple rca to 1/4" adapter. 5

[7.4" / 18.7 cm] Have the Lumedyne X and love it performs much like a mimi cycler for speedlights. Very small and compact and plugs directly into the flash so no cords to get tangled in. Performs as advertised doubles the life of the onboard batteries and cuts the recycle time in half. Not as fast as the big belt cyclers on full flash dumps but with higher ISO and TTL use you may not notice any difference. The X also maintains the flash capacitors at full charge for more consistent results. Normally the capacitors loose some of their charge before topping off again from the onboard batteries. Performs very different and better than the cheep Chinese extra batteries that only extend battery time but do nothing to speed up the recycle time of the flash. Save your money and get the Lumedyne X it's a much more useful and a real photographers tool. Once you get used to using the X or a Cycler and your flash fires every time at the correct intensity it's hard to settle for the basic performance and missed shots that the onboard batteries alone provide. I find that the Lumedyne X now lives in my camera bag as a light weight alternative to a cycler battery pack. It's great to have cycler performance at hand without the weight penalty of dragging it around if you don't need it or use it. Great for traveling less stuff, less weight! I'm a professional wedding photographer and found the Lumedyne X to be a great and useful addition to my bag. Very handy when dealing with two bodies, no tangled cycler cords. Also love the USB charger that lets me recharge in the car between locations. Lumedyne, is also a great company that really stands behind it's products that are made in the USA. 5

[0.88 lb] Using this device to take AES3 audio from a Allen and Heath SQ7 and embedding it into our SDI feed. Only using one of the inputs for the main L/R feed into channels 1 and 2. Super clean audio coming in from the desk eliminating all of the buzz that existed in our analogue system. Would highly recommend this converter if your Mixer outputs AES3 digital audio and need to get it into your broadcast SDI feed. 5

[7.4" / 18.7 cm] The X flash accelerator is very easy to use -just hold the on/off button for 3 seconds and go. The accelerator works as advertised. It not only recycles fast for a longer time but helps the flash batteries last longer. It is small, compact and better than the larger belt ones with their cables. You can discuss the its performance with their support person. 5

[12.3 x 7.8 x 2"] A must have if you're doing serious audio work in Resolve. The faders have a nice feel and the jog/shuttle wheel is great. This has far more capabilities than I've even begun to explore. 5
