Q: 1. Are these units water proof?

A: They are not. This is not a water proof product.

Q: 2. can it be used with two receivers at the same time? Which receiver is correct for this transmitter?

Q: 4. Is there a sony L series battery option?

A: GyroVu D-Tap to Sony L-Series Intelligent Dummy Battery (30") BH #GYGVDTAPSL https://bhpho.to/2LMx3ao

Q: 5. Why is the image of the reciever.

A: I have contacted the web department regarding the error. We thank you for alerting us and we apologize for any confusion.

Q: 6. Does the unit transmit the sdi record flag? Or does it get lost in the compression?

A: If you are referring to an SDI signals ability to trigger an external recording device than more than likely that will not travel over in this system.

Q: 7. Does the receiver comes with an AC adapter?Does the Transmitter power cable is D-Tap to lemo?

A: According to Cine Gears the included Lemo Cables do have a D-Tap on the other end. However this unit does not include a DC Power Supply.

Q: 8. Will this transmits 1080i at 59.94?

Q: 9. Why would I want to buy a 200M or a 150M or any other version of the Cinegears transmitters over this one given the price point of those and this one?In other words... I'm trying to figure out why it's so inexpensive compared to similar models in the past or lesser-performing current models.

A: From the research I've done, it would seem the main difference is signal resiliency. The 600MP model receiver has no external antennae and though it has a range of 600m like it's Ghost-Eye 600M sibling, it is more susceptible to drop-out when you lose line of sight. Because the 600M has those external antennae connectors, this means it also allows connecting the large panel antenna to extend range even further. Take that info and apply it to the 200M - yes, it is only 200 meter range, but it seems the signal is more resilient to objects that would block or interfere. That might mean that in an interior situation the 200M could possibly outperform the 600MP but in an open environment with clear line-of-sight, the 600MP would operate at a range far beyond the 200m limitations of the Ghost-Eye 200M. This is all based on what I could gather on-line so hopefully the manufacturer will chime in and confirm or dispute...

Q: 10. Why this model is more costier than the cine gear goest eye 600 mp having more tranmitter range of 600 m vs 200 m, what is the difference between this kit and the goest eye 600mp? Can these be used on the black magic Ursa mini pro camera? What type of monitor to be used?, regards Ashok

A: The 600 is older Technology.

[17 dBm] I bought one a few months back, and use it all the time. Works great, with very infrequent dropouts or reconnects. Receiver can output HDMI and SDI simultaneously, which has come in handy. The only criticism I have is that it doesn't have SDI loop-through on the receiver end. Solved pretty easily with a T-connector, but it would be nice to have.

[17 dBm] Shot indoors in a house through multiple rooms and had no issues. Battery lasts well and everything syncs and connects right out of the box.

[Via mini-USB] We Love Ghost-Eye!! And our clients do too!  Just got a text from our
customer on set, he is a sound audio mixer and has 2 feeds from video village to his sound cart (A & B Cam).   He said “I will never do another show without the Ghost Eye!!” We have been using the 150M kits for over a year and have had excellent results on TV shows and movie sets. CineGears support has always been fast and easy to work with if you have questions. We just ordered 2 new Ghost-Eye300M kits from B&H and are excited to get them in the field. Why you ask?? Because our 150M kits are out working and we need more kits for a job! Thanks B&H and CineGears!!

[9 to 18 VDC] I'm really liking this system. So far, I've pushed the distance out to a football field, with no signal loss, also used it out on the water , filming boat to boat, and inside a manufacturing facility. It didn't drop signal or get sketchy at all.
The fact that the receivers have no antennae is a big plus. I put one RX on a small monitor for director handset and I don't have to worry about the antennae get broken off by someone less careful than I.
Another great feature, that I use a lot, is loop out sdi on the transmitter and 2 sdi out on the receiver.
There are also multiple mounting points on the bottom and face of the receiver, for various mounting configurations.

The clover antennae on the transmitter look cool too, and are less likely to get broken.
