The MS9312 Three-Section Microphone Stand, Round Base, Blackis a heavy-duty, straight mic stand, which features a large, 12" round base and a telescoping tree-section shaft that allows you to position a microphone up to 8' high. It is well suited for holding heavy microphones or for overhead miking of choirs, orchestras, and more.

The MS9312 is constructed from durable steel tubing and has a 10 lb, low-profile, cast-iron base that provides stability, even when the stand is fully extended. The height is adjusted using two clutches that are designed for easy and secure gripping. An oversized knurled locking washer on the upper shaft ensures that the mic clip stays exactly where desired.

[12" (30.5 cm)] Couldn't ask for more from this stand. There is very solid registration between the rod and base, and the adjustment mechanism has had no slippage of any kind. The base is rock solid, and seems like it could brush aside any kind of mishap. Being made in Germany makes for a nice cherry on top. 5

[17 lb] This is the standard floor mic stand by Atlas Sound, strong and stable, works like advertised. Been using these stands for years, just bought another one. They last for a long time (won't say a lifetime because I'm not dead yet!). Solid construction, industry standard item. 5

[17 lb] Just got two of these stands, no problem with assembly. Most stands only go 5' which is a problem for tall people. We have a person well over 6' tall, this should do the trick! Very heavy base, cable clips for wired mics, All told, this stand will work for anyone, highly recommended. 5

[10 lb (4.5 kg)] Two of these survived a shipment that left both boxes bent, torn and shredded on the corners, with only minor scratches. Very tough! Also the stand bases are much lower profile than most, so they get kicked less in use. 5

[17 lb] If your looking of a well balanced solid stand this is the one. I use several of these stands for all my wireless microphone set-ups. on video shots in church and at graduation ceremonies. The are simple and get the job done and the build quality is great. 5
