[6.9 lb] I’ve used scrim frames before... this 6x6’ frame is awesome. I goes together super quick and fits right in to grip heads. The fabrics go on so easily without all of the Velcro nonsense that a scrimjim has.

I wish the 8x8’ frame was the same construction. I’d grab that too

[7 Patterns] I've used the Westcott Scrim Jim and this is a much more convenient system. The frame being able to fit into a standard C-stand grip head is awesome as you then don't need additional clamps. The included grid diffuser is very nice! Great for book lights.

[7 Patterns] The skylites are my favorite 4x4 frame. Easy and quick to set up, decently durable, good for travel. If you have a truck and can go with a 4x frame that doesn't break down at all that's great, but for everyone else these are great.

[6.9 lb] One of the most essential tools we have on the truck. I've used this thing in almost every type of environment from violent winds to tiny apartments. We normally have a 42x72 and 72x72 close by on our carts, but the 42x72 really comes in handy for diffusing car windshields, doorways, individual handheld stuff, or anywhere the 72x72 is just too large for the environment or situation. If you're considering this investment, you won't be disappointed. Only thing negative I can mention is that the black and white fabric is sort of crunchy, and the white side is kind of glossy- but I think it's to keep the fabric lightweight which is great. Sometimes if I want to get the shine out of the white side I just put a second fabric like the 1/8 grid cloth over the white. One other thing is when using the nets, they can easily get snagged on the pins that hold the frame together and tear the net- but if your careful, it's fine to work with.

For real, chimera nailed it. 10 out of 10

[7 Patterns] This is my second most used window pattern from the Chimera Window Patterns Kit. I use it to light boring walls behind talent on interview shoots. I've got to confess I made my own cucoloris pattern using foam board and it looks downright creepy. Boris Karloff sort of stuff. So I broke down and purchased the Chimera patterns. I prefer the larger Chimera patterns when trying to add a splash to walls, the smallest patterns seem better suited to me for extremely small areas. I appreciate and stand behind the Chimera brand for their quality, portability as well as tried and true safety while on location. Great product. Recommended for anybody's kit.

[30.25 x 10 x 6"] The 42 x 42 is the perfect size for a small shoot. It gives you the bounce you need and isn't too big to get into most situations. We love the different colors - White/Black and Gold as well as the diffusion. And its got the Chimera quality that we've come to expect.

[7 Patterns] This is the best deal out there if you're building a lighting kit from scratch. It comes out to about 25% off buying the same chimeras individually. I'm using the strip bank with a Spiderlite td5 in order to have a good low profile soft source. I intend to use the other two with the new Arrilite Plus 750 units, once they come on the market.

[6.2 lb (2.8kg)] Good looking case. Love how quite the fans are and the ability to keep the system cool. Like professional reviews have stated, the clearance for cable routing on the other side of the case behind the motherboard could stand to be just a bit more roomy, however it is possible to route cables well if you take your time. Zero regrets.

[7 Patterns] I have had a few of these a few weeks now and really like them. They are made of good material that seems like it will last. They worked great for the project I purchased them for and I look forward to using this one and others by Chimera in the future.
