A: I do apologies for the delay in responding. It should work, from what I can tell the Hassleblad does have a standard thread mount on the shutter realease. I have had this cable realease fo about a year and very pleased. It is used with both my Pentax 6x7, as well as my Toyo 45CF, both of course use the standard shutter threading.

A: Not sure about a 503cw but works perfect on my SWC/M as well all my other mechanical cameras. It is hands down the best cable release that I ever have worked with !
