A: George I use this tripod with a ball head and the following release plate assembly: Manfrotto 323 RC2 System Quick Release Adapter with 200PL-14 Plate. I have a couple of tripods and have installed this system on them.

A: We do not have the knerled nuts sold on their own, however they are not aboslutely necesary to mount your mic clip.

A: No you can not adapt half-ball fluid head , you can ad a fluid head but not half-ball , something like this Manfrotto 502AH Pro Video Head with Flat Base BH #MAMVH502AH

[Yes] I am using this stand in the living room to hold a Nord Grand 2 piano. It's rock solid and adjustable. I feel like this stand will hold anything! It makes a very solid base for the piano. 5

[Platinum] With the help of Mr. Google, I looked at many laptop stands before ordering this one for me. It's as attractive, sturdy and functional as any of the others reviewed, and priced fairly. Unboxing and assembly was straightforward, fast and simple. Then I ordered another one for my envious friend. She decided to take it to her sister with severe arthritis and mobility issues. Sis was glad to replace her heavy cumbersome table with this stand because she can adjust it and easily roll it out of the way. I roll mine from room to room, out on the deck or screened porch or into a corner when it's not in use. The crescent shape of the top is both ergonomic and stylish. I highly recommend this classy laptop stand. And it's a good deal. 5

[Particle board] Have an older, heaving Keyboard/Synth (Casio Privia PX 575-R). After trying various stands, realize the foundation for playing is the WORST place to cut corners. The stand is dependably stable. And it's 1000% worth the extra $$ for the foldable version, if you ever intend to move the keyboard or travel. This stand will undoubtedly outlast my current and several other future keyboards as well. Recommend with feverent gusto! 5
