A: Yes, the Syrp Magic Carpet Carbon Fiber Short Slider Track (2') is compatible with the Syrp Magic Carpet PRO head.

Q: 2. Can you attach this to either the Magic Carpet or Magic Carpet rails, or are they all separate systems?

A: this is an extension component for the Magic Carpet Slider system. for example if you had the 3.3ft version you could use this to add an extra 2 feet to your slider by attaching to the rails that come in your kit. This extension track cannot replace the track that came with a magic carpet slider. Also keep in mind that this is designed for the Original Magic Carpet it is not compatible with the Magic Carpet Pro

A: This kit does not include the motors. If you just want linear motion (up and down the track) then you will need Syrp Genie II Linear BH #SY00380003 • MFR #SY0038-0003 if you want both linear motion and pan/tilt then you will need to get Syrp Genie II 3-Axis Kit BH #SYKIT0001 • MFR #SYKIT-0001

A: Yes, the Syrp Magic Carpet PRO Short Slider Kit with Extension (60") (B&H# SYKIT0021H) can be mounted on flat top tripods just as easily as it could be mounted on those with bowls and half balls. If your concern is the leveling of the slider, however, then please note that it may also be mounted directly on multiple tripods using tripod heads that are not mounted on half balls, too.

A: Yes, you can remove the extension on the Syrp Magic Carpet PRO Short Track.

[25.8 x 6.5 x 3"] Soon after I bought the Syrp Genie 3 axis kit which includes the Magic Carpet (Short Track), I had to the opportunity to travel and decide to shoot some time lapses and wanted to take my Gyrp kit. While the rest of the kit was easy to pack, the Track was a different story. Ended up buying the Syrp Case for the track. The quality of the case is great, its not padded as much as I would have expected, but then again the track is pretty sturdy and probably could take some rough use. It is a very snug fit, but allows for room to have the slider piece to be on the track and still fit which is great. Overall a good case for a great product. 5

[11 lb (5 kg)] This is my first time ever writing a review on B&H website. I contacted B&H customer support in hopes they can help me find a decent mechanical slider. Before reaching out however I must mention I've purchased many sliders before this "syrp magic carpet" one and none of them were satisfactory. At first I was skeptical when they recommended this slider because this product surprisingly has 0 reviews. B&H told me I'd be the first. I took a chance and I am beyond satisfied at the smoothness of this slider. So buyer if you are looking for a mechanical slider that is smooth, look no further. 5

[25.8 x 6.5 x 3"] This slider is soooo impressively smooth! Perfect price point, great bang for your buck. I've been using a 3' Glidetrack slider for many years, honestly with great results. But, I recently purchased the Genie II Linear and wanted a slider that would more easily integrate with this rope motorized tracking system. Well, this slider/carriage combo works great with the Genie II Linear but I've also just been blown away with how smooth and easy this has been for doing freehand moves (SO much smoother than any other slider I've ever used - My decent sized payloads feel like they're floating on air!). I'm very stoked on this length as well - 3.3' is short enough that I can easily set this up with 1 sturdy tripod (with a decent payload), yet long enough that I'm getting ample linear motion (just may take some simple finessing with your position relative to your foreground subject). I highly recommend this product. 5
