Q: 5. I have this camera installed over Lake Ontario for Sky events like meteors/fireballs and Aurora borealis events. However, I have found lately it's not picking up the lights or rays at night too well like it once did. Am I using the right kind of camera or are there ways I can change the ISO or White Balance settings on it somehow? It was professionally installed and I can't get them back to fix it as they don't even know what I am talking about. They are security installation people not videographers or photographers. Can I change these settings myself? And if so, how? I thank everyone who took their time reading and answering my question! It means a lot to me!

[PVC-free] This camera is powerful and does everything I need. It is only using 4% of its zoom capabilities from 100 feet away, and sees everything day or night. It is a case of you get what you pay for and this has been worth every penny.

[PVC-free] Installed on campus road with traffic reaching 35mph, offset approximately 40ft and skewed and still grabs every plate that passes by without fail. Rain or shine, day or night this setup does not disappoint.

[NETD <70 mK] Axis has blown my mind with this cameras, it captures license plates with ease. The zoom is ridiculous. Pair this camera with OpenALPR and you could get the lowest priced LPR solution on the market. Worth every penny.

[4 lb (0.18 kg)] I've bought this model before and I was pleased to discover that they include a microphone now! The firmware is also newer and the config webpage works a bit better. Camera is slightly more squared off and less rounded, but overall dimensions are the same.

[PVC-free] Really impressed by AXIS and this new camera dedicated to LPR. It captures plates at high speeds and compared to other AXIS cameras this one requires no image configurations. This camera is built for LPR, day or night and for very high speed. For me, moving to this camera has improved my night time capture from 10% to 95%. Using this in conjunction with OpenALPR provides a cheap LPR solution that works excellent for us.

[4.43 lb] Purchased three cameras two were priced at a discount as used and had never been hooked up. one of the used was missing a base and that was expected.

The 2035 was a huge upgrade over the 2025 and had object detection the night vision is as clear as the daytime.
