The E-Image 15mm Rod Mount Articulating Magic Arm 7"7" E-Image 15mm Rod Mount Articulating Magic Arm 7"is designed to provide a sturdy, efficient mounting solution for various devices and accessories such as monitors and EVFs. The articulating arm features a 15mm rod stud on each end and comes with a mounting platform that attaches to the top stud. A 15mm rod port adapter is included and attaches to the bottom stud. It provides a rod port for attaching directly to a single 15mm rod on your rig. Or you can remove the rod port adapter from the bottom and use the native 15mm rod stud of the arm. This way, you can attach directly to single rod ports you may have on your camera cage or elsewhere on your rig.

The mounting platform on top features a 1/4"-20 mounting screw and is padded to prevent twisting and scratching. It also has a lip on the side to better hold your device. The platform secures to the top stud of the arm at the turn of a lever. All three articulating points of the arm tighten at the same time via a wingnut in the center.

[3] We just got 2 to use for monitor mounts for our new Shinobi 7's and they're rock solid. It definitely can hold way more weight than these monitors. Also, having rod mount locks makes changing locations on a rig much faster. Only thing is I wish the baseplate had a 1/4 20 thread so you could leave the monitor mount on all the time for different configurations without the arms. 5/5 5

[0.85 lb] i bought this to replace some less expensive articulating arms (which were okay, but wouldn't hold the weight well, would often spin loose, etc.). i got one to hold my Blackmagic Video Assist and another to hold my Zoom H6, everything on board my shoulder rig for my BMPCC 6K. one man studio. i combined these with the Zhiyun-Tech TransMount Quick Setup Adapter quick-release mechanism for quick gear swaps. 5

[0.85 lb] This is a very sturdy arm, and has a great range for attaching a 7" monitor. I use for a 7" Lilliput A7S monitor which is very light, but it says it can hold 12 lbs and I believe it. I like the way the knob on the knuckle tightens up everything, and the anodized red knobs are a nice touch. 5
