A: You won't be able to track with the Genie without giving it something to track along - we've seen people use sliders, or home made wheel systems, even skateboards to do this. You'll need to secure the Genie rope's two ends too.

[Steel] I bought 2 new cameras and needed this to mount them. Thankfully this will fit older wall mount kits from older axis dome cameras. Just unscrew the old Pendant kit and replace it with the new one and mount your camera. 5

[Steel] I was very happy to find out this pendant kit fits on the older Axis wall mounts, specifically the T91D61. Seems Axis is always changing their mounts but as long as the thread size and type remains the same it should allow us to replace old Axis cameras with new ones while keeping the old mount on the wall. As for the performance of this pendant kit, won't really know for about a year. I suspect condensation getting into the camera will be an issue; but perhaps the venting is intentional and will prevent that. I've never had issues with condensation on Axis cameras before so they seem to know what they are doing. 5

[Steel] 3-Axis Kit from Syrp is clearly well made and very easy to use. The motion control app is easy and I have set up several timelapse test scenarios and it has worked flawlessly. Smooth motion and great results. For the price I wish the kit came with a carry case but I'll utilize an old travel backpack for it. Be sure to order the correct link data cable to plug into your camera. Note: prior to using the link cable, I did try to use the USB-C connection from the Genie to my R5 and use the optional Camera Control app. It initially worked for my first timelapse but it did lose sync in between test runs (may be because the camera went into power saver mode) so I'll be using the link cable instead for all of my timelapse - it's solid every time. 5

[Steel] I bought this and the Hikvision DS-2CD2723G1-IZSnd. Easy install for a Multifamily project i was wrapping up. I had a different model but it got water damage due to rain, hope this one can survive the elements. 5
