The Epiphan Pearl-2 Rackmount Video Production Device (2 RU)from Epiphan Pearl-2 Rackmount Video Production Device (2 RU)is a production video mixer that lets you create visually appealing live video programs by combining, encoding, switching, and recording up to six video sources and two audio sources. Simple to use with a web-based portal for initial configuration, you get a drag-and-drop interface to create completely customizable layouts for your live stream. You can choose to keep Pearl-2's default encoding settings or customize them to meet your exact needs. Control the video recorder and video switcher capabilities via the touchscreen or the tablet-friendly Epiphan Live interface. It features a 2 RU rackmount server with all the same functionality as the portable Pearl-2 but is designed for installation and operation in a rack.

A: This does not support video/audio editing. You can stream the video to a computer or record to an SD card, download that to a computer and edit from there.

A: The Epiphan Pearl Nano 4K Add-On supports 4k at 30 fps. It does not support 4k at 60fps.

[1 to 20 Mb/s] I purchased this about a year ago for its ability to stream on Facebook & YouTube simultaneously. We had used their now-discontinued Webcasters to do this in the past and they worked great, but only streamed to a single platform. Haven't done much recording with it, but the number of possible inputs as well and the web interface make it a reliable streaming option for us. We're about to add a second for another location! 5
