Fujinon HF16XA-5M 15.87mm 5MP Machine Vision Lensis a C-mount lens for 2/3" sensors and suitable for machine vision applications. Designed to resolve images on sensors up to 5MP, it features locking manual focus and iris rings for use in demanding environments. The lens can focus from infinity down to less than an 4" from the front of the lens, producing sharp images with little distortion. It accepts M25.5-size threaded filters.

The lens maintains edge-to-edge sharpness from the image center to all corners for higher image recognition accuracy, even when changing focus

The lens exhibits a maximum resolution of 3.45µm pixel pitch over a large area of your sensor

The lens maintains what Fujinon calls 4D High Resolution performance, resolving to a pixel pitch on the sensor of 4.4µm

Manual focus and iris

Focus and iris rings are locking, and each ring has three different locking holes that can receive the locking knob
This enables you to use this lens in a variety of limited space applications as you can install the lens, and then fit the locking knob to the most advantageous receiving hole

[-0.6%] B&H delivered this product to Ireland on time. We use this lens for high speed capture up to 5000 fps, the F stop range (1.4 to 22) allows a lot of light to get to the 1 sensor, which is critical for high frame rates. I found the quality of the optics on this lens excellent for the low price. It's a sturdy construction and the lockable focus and aperture are very useful. The 100 mm MOD suited our application to allow us to get close to the subject. The viewing angle suited our application subject size of approx. 15 mm x 15 mm. If a larger subject is required the lens was able to cope by simply moving further away from the subject or use lens extension adaptors tubes. Overall very happy with this lens. 5

[-0.6%] The Fujinon CF series lenses provide low distortion, accurate images on camera sensors up to 1 and are relatively inexpensive. The CF12.5HA-1 is physically large compared to the body size of most modern machine vision cameras, but the barrel distortion is noticeably less than most compact lenses can deliver. This lens works perfectly with both 1:1.2 sensors and 1 sensors. I've even used it on 5MP industrial cameras and it punches well above its weight given that it's only rated for use on 1.5MP sensors. 5

[17.526 mm] We have been using Fuji CFxxZA-1S, where xx = 8mm, 16mm, 25mm for a while now. Recently bought the 25mm EFL lens from B&H, who are great! One comment, the 25mm lens, while to the design, behaves with a slightly shorter EFL. So, I recommend looking at this document when designing: CF-ZA Series: FUJINON Lens Shooting Range Chart.pdf. The CFxxZA lenses provide excellent brightness uniformity across the field. The 25mm lens provided near full intensity at the edge field. (We know this because we were at 85%, better than the illumination source spec.) Like the 8mm (a challenging design), we can flat-field and distortion correct the imaging system with outstanding results. [17.526 mm] I use a 25mm f/1.4 lens in fixed geometry at an image-object distance of 350mm. With a 2/3 industrial CCD, the Fujinon CF25HA-1 gives a slightly sharper 100x80mm image with less darkening at the corners compared to the much smaller and cheaper Fujinon HF25HA-1B under the exact same conditions. The latter only has the advantage when size, weight or cost are important. 5
