A: This cable is not appropriate for the Shogun and MixPre. To connect the Shogun to the MixPre, you would want to connect the HDMI output of the Shogun to the Micro-HDMI connection on the MixPre. This will take the HDMI TC from the Sony to the recorder. The MixPre must be set in HDMI TC Mode and will stop and start recording from the camera triggering it.

[0.15 lb] I own two of these. Their solid cables so far. I haven't had them for more than a few months but They've held up to some serious abuse that deemed me chewing out a part of the camera department. They are a bit long for anything I need but the slack isn't too much. Both connector sides fit snug in anything I've plugged them in. 5

[0.15 lb] I purchased the Tentacle Sync to ARRI Alexa Mini time code cable for use on a project for syncing time code to the Alexa Mini camera. The Tentacle Sync time code box was connected to the Alexa Mini lemo connector time code input. This cable worked great and there were no issues. 5

[0.15 lb] Tentacle Sync cables are always great and as the headline says, this is the cable for use with the RED Mysterium X camera. If that's the camera you're dealing with, don't use the cable that says it's for RED, that connector looks the same but is smaller. I'm sure it's for the newer RED camera systems. 5
