For GoPro filming, you wouldn't need the +i version of this kit, but merely just the regular WLX-PRO. If you still want the flexibility to record video with a mobile device in the future, you can purchase this kit and just omit the adapter cable when filming with GoPro. However, we do recommend our PRO-XD 2.4GHz Digital Wireless Microphone System when choosing to shoot with a GoPro, as that system has a more compact form factor and adjustable gain from the receiver going into your camera.
