The Lectrosonics SRc Wireless Lavalier Microphone System Kitfrom Lectrosonics SRc Wireless Lavalier Microphone System Kitconsist of two separate receivers built into a single, ultra-compact housing with adapters for video-camera-receiver slots and for stand-alone use. They can be used when paired with a transmitter & microphone (sold separately) in various environments for ENG (Electronic News Gathering), EFP (Electronic Field Productions) and other audio applications.

Each receiver features Digital Hybrid Wireless technology that provides compandor-free audio quality and compatibility with other wireless systems. The RF performance is stable over a wide temperature range, making the receiver perfectly suited in rough environmental conditions.

The front panel has a menu-driven LCD interface and four membrane switches which are used to view and alter settings. In addition, the LCD window displays the pilot-tone indicator, diversity activity, RF level, audio level, and transmitter battery status for both receivers.

Furthermore, a built-in spectrum analyzer scans across the tuning range of the receiver and displays a histogram of RF activity across the band. Areas of RF activity are easily recognizable. The two internal receivers can be operated separately and both have switching, antenna-combining diversity, or in tandem with ratio-diversity reception.

Finally, a variety of output adapters and mounting options are available for camera-slot operation. The receivers are powered from an external 7 to 18 VDC source.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can i use this with my gopro9 media mod?

A: Yes, the Movo Photo WMX-1 Wireless Lavalier Microphone System can be connected to the 3.5mm mic input on a GoPro Media Mod.

Q: 2. Can this be used with a sound board if I use a 3/4 adaptor?

A: Yes, the Movo Photo WMX-1 Wireless Lavalier Microphone System can be connected with a mixer. You can use a cable like the Kopul Stereo Right-Angle 1/8" Male Mini-Jack to XLR Male Cable - 1.5' (B&H # KORSMXM015) to connect to an XLR mic input on the mixer, or you can use a 1/4" adapter like the Comprehensive Stereo 1/4" Male to Stereo 1/8" (3.5mm) Female Adapter (B&H # COSPPMJS) along with the TRS cable included with the wireless mic system to connect to a 1/4" mic input on the mixer.

Q: 3. how many transmitters could i use with 1 receiver ?

A: This is a single receiver system that works with only one transmitter. If you require additional mics, then you would use full systems for each mic set to different frequencies.

Q: 4. Smart phone spplications

A: The Lectrosonics LR Receiver can be connected to a smartphone using the included 1/8 output cable along with an optional adapter such as the Rode SC4.

Q: 5. The default sensitivity is -30. Is it recommended to put it higher to -15 or is -30 good? I am recording educational lectures in a studio space.

A: I would recommend doing a test recording with the mic starting off with the default sensitivity setting. Experiment with the settings as well as the positioning of the mic to find the combination that works best for you. When you do the test recordings, you can say which setting you are using for the sensitivity level and where the mic is placed. Just speak and record, and that way you can easily listen back and compare the audio clips without having to remember how everything was set up.

Q: 6. what wireless label microphones would work well with this receiver?

A: The Shure SM58 wireless microphones with H9: 512 - 542 MHZ work excellent with this receiver.

Q: 7. Hello: Max Microphones per Band 2. What does this mean? Can I use 3 Samson XPDm systems at the same time?

A: Under the specifications for "System" there is a spec for "Max Transmitters per Band" which lists "2". This means that a maximum of two Samson XPDm Digital Wireless Microphone Systems can be used at the same time within the 100-foot maximum operating range. So it is not possible to use more than two of the XPDm systems at the same time within a 100-foot range.

Q: 8. Does this wireless kit have the ability to search automatically for available transmission frequencies, like the SONY UWP-D11? From what I understand the Sony kit will automatically select a clear signal, even if for example the transmitter is on the subject, away from the receiver.

A: Short answer: YES! It's called Smart Tune in the setup menu. The receiver does a scan of the entire tuning range and then suggests a choice which you can accept with a button push.

Q: 9. I got the dual person. It came with two XS Wireless packs. They both had the same frequency. How to chance one to a different frequency?

A: Changing frequency on the Sennheiser XSW 1 DUAL 2-Person Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System Kit can be initiated on the EM-XSW 1 Dual-Channel Stationary Receiver. First, press the Up/Down button on the specific receiver module you would like to change and select "Scan". Press the "Set" button next to activate this function, where the receiver will select an open channel. Next, power on your correlating transmitter and press the "Sync" button until the receiver's display flashes "SYNC". Finally, press the "Sync" button on the receiver to transfer the selected frequency to the transmitter. This process is described in further detail on page 11 of the system manual linked here: https://bhpho.to/3qHYANh

Q: 10. can I use the lavalier microphone and the handheld microphone at the same time?

A: Yes, you can use both transmitters at the same time with the Sennheiser EM-XSW 1 receiver. The receiver has two separate channels so it works with two wireless transmitters/microphones at the same time.

[Slot-Mount] It is a little pricey depending on your budget but I shoot a lot of football games & mic up coaches & play by play announcers. I've had a lot of problems with other mics in the past cutting out when there's a lot of people between me & the person miced up. So far this has preformed really well, not cutting out or dropping audio. I also like you can switch between power output from 50mw to 100mw. They do eat up batteries like crazy, especially outside in the cold!

[3072] This replaced a mic that I use when I lead worship on Sunday. The transmitter was still fine but the mic failed. The new one is better than the one it replaced.

[100 dBm] This is as good as it gets for a professional quality wireless system. This is the 4th system I have purchased over the years and have used Lectrosonics gear for over 15 years and have never once been disapointed in their products. The signal is always crisp and clean. They are also very flexable with well thought out menues and features. They are very rugged, have used them rain, snow, below zero temps, and above 100 degree weather. Have dropped them from over a meter with no ill effects. You just can't beat the quality, performance and reliablity.
I highly recomend this and other Lectrosonics products.

[3072] I'm just getting started with these after using Sennheisers for a few years. I'd had experience with Lectrosonics in the past and remembered how great they were. These are no different. Very easy to set up and use. I'm still tweaking mine some but almost perfect right out of the box. Very well built. I'm used to interference creeping in with the Sennheisers, not with these. Strong signal all the time.

[76 MHz] Still a workhorse of the wireless microphone set, this replacement microphone is the exact replacement part for you Lectrosonics wireless mic. Usually the cord fails -- and the failure is usually at the plug. These replacement mics have reinforced strain-relief where the cord comes out of the plug -- highly recommended by me!
