Q: 7. Can the PRO Carriages be used on the original Genie slider tracks, or are these different diameter tubes?

A: The SYRP PRO Magic Carpet carriage only works with PRO parts. The original Magic Carpet slider is not compatible with the PRO line.

Q: 8. I've tried using small sliders with my FX6, large head and movement. However with the other slider, I got a lot of "play" when tilting the camera up or down with a good amount of resistance set, to make it smooth. My rig is only about 25 pounds, and sits about 12 inches above the slider due to the size of the sachtler activ 8 head. Does this slider have play that it will torque and twist, if you have a decent size rig and tight tripod head? or is it totally solid?

A: This slider is definitely solid for large setups but we also recommend using two tripods or stands for additional support.

A: The carbon fiber extensions are exactly 24" and this bag has roughly 6" of additional space end to end. The additional tracks would fit, but a wiser choice and to be on the safer side, is to explore bags that are a little larger overall.

[3.55 lb] The Syrp system works well for me. Any system has a learning curve and this is what I chose to learn. It does a good job and the track extensions are of solid construction and attachment to the existing components. 5

[0.98" (2.5 cm)] I purchased two of these for my Magic Carpet Pro, taking it from 3 feet to now 7 feet. Incredibly easy to add on, and equally as robust. I cannot recommend this dolly enough. 5

[0.98" (2.5 cm)] I really like it, I use it to take details shots in weddings, the only thing is that in order to get stability, you need an really good Tripod, I use the Manfrotto MT055XPRO3 Aluminum Tripod with the Manfrotto 054 Magnesium Ball Head with Q5 Quick Release under the Magic Carpet, and above it, I used the 502HD Fluid Head Hybrid Video Kit. one Tip, I use a Large Q5 quick release, attached with TWO Screws at the center of the Magi Carpet in order to get the best stability. 5

Having the ability to tear down is wonderful - so you can keep it clean - cleaner the better for smooth movement.� Be sure to keep the slider from getting dinged up - if you get a little scratch you can just use a file.� Overall this is a great slider and I would recommend it 5
