The CINEGEARS Ghost-Eye 500M Wireless HD SDI Receiverfrom CINEGEARS Ghost-Eye 500M Wireless HD SDI Receiverprovides a suitable solution for video and audio transmission for film making and television professionals, both on set and post-production. It receives uncompressed HD video and audio up to a distance of 1500', allowing you to shoot in both indoor and outdoor situations. With both 3G and HDMI inputs and outputs, using frequencies between 4.9 to 5.9GHz as needed (up to four simultaneously), you can utilize the video transmission for professional applications. It requires the Ghost-Eye 500M Wireless Transmitter at the transmitting end for full-feature utilization.

A: We used a SWIT battery Sony equivalent for a hockey game, which is around 3 hours and we had no problems. The Sony 970 should be the same.

A: That is possible. The FREEFLY Pop-N-Lock Quick Release System, B&H # FR91000205, has both 1/4"-20 and 3/8" threads to attach accessories. Q: 7. Can the receiver output HDMI and SDI at the same time to enable a loop to another monitor?

A: Yes you can. If using a smallhd monitor you can just run one sdi out to that, and loop out of the smallhd as well.

Q: 8. I can't connect it to ghost eye 150mV2, either receiver or transmitter. Any solution?It state that it is compatible to the previous version.

[2.1 lb] This unit is a great line of sight unit. We use it for our run-and-gun onstage shooting. We shoot concert type events for the most part but also use it for seminars, weddings, and other events. As long as you have a good line-of-sight, it works flawlessly. Was disappointed it did not come with a power source on either end. 5

[<1 ms] I'm really liking this system. So far, I've pushed the distance out to a football field, with no signal loss, also used it out on the water , filming boat to boat, and inside a manufacturing facility. It didn't drop signal or get sketchy at all. The fact that the receivers have no antennae is a big plus. I put one RX on a small monitor for director handset and I don't have to worry about the antennae get broken off by someone less careful than I. Another great feature, that I use a lot, is loop out sdi on the transmitter and 2 sdi out on the receiver. There are also multiple mounting points on the bottom and face of the receiver, for various mounting configurations. The clover antennae on the transmitter look cool too, and are less likely to get broken. 5

[FCC, CE, RoHS] All the specs indicate line of sight range, but my need is for wireless transmission on a run & gun audience/stage camera for concerts and live events. I was worried it might not work if bodies got in the way or if the camera went around a corner or behind a bleacher, etc. Havent tested in a large audience yet, but I can go out of my office, close the door and get about 50 feet before receiving artifacts. Going down a staircase, connection is lost completely and it takes a while to reconnect. As long as the camera operator stops moving away when artifacts begin, this should work reliably for me. 5

[OFDM 16QAM] i have the old 600P which i was not happy with ,compare this one with the old , its improved a lot there no noise or signal cut , i use it for football live broadcasting and it give me very good quality in direction the match , the distance was like 100 meters and no single cut observed the picture quality was stable . 5
