The Canon EF-S 35mm f/2.8 Macro IS STM Lens Caphas a spring-loaded center-pinch design, allowing you to squeeze the center and snap the cap onto the Canon lens. In addition, the lens cap can also fit inside the lens hood when the hood is attached to the lens or onto filters of 49mm in diameter. [0.03 lb] So far I am very pleased with the performance of the RF 35mm. I have been working with prime lenses since I got my R% in January. My other primes are vintage, and also Canon's RF 50mm and RF 16mm. The 35mm turns out to be the best all around for the types of shots I take most often, which is parks, landmarks, streets, textures, details, and some family portraits. I'm pleased with the sharpness, the color, and the overall feel of my photos with this lens. I've done some super closeups, as well as fairly wide shots, and I just can't find fault in the lens' ability to capture what I want. For my outdoor portrait shots, I set it at f/1.8 and stood about 6 or 8 feet away and was amazed at how perfectly my subject was in focus with a very nicely blurred background. So far, so fun! 5

[Snap-On] Perfect for removing or putting on lens cap with the lens hood. With the outer Release caps it is too difficult to reach inside the hood. 5
