Available for download, AmpliTube 4 Deluxe - Guitar Amp & Cabinet Emulation Softwareprovides faithful emulations and models of amplifiers, cabinets, stompboxes, mics, rooms, and effects-rack. It's designed for electric guitars and electric basses, and gives you over 116 of the above-listed modules.

In standalone mode, this software can function as an 8-channel DAW with full recording, looping, editing, mixing, and exporting capabilities. Instant preset-switching, compatible with any appropriate MIDI controller, makes the standalone application of this software especially useful for live scenarios, as you can switch from a convincing, chunky British sound to an American twang in however long it takes you to tap your toes. Used in any DAW such as Pro Tools or Logic, AmpliTube MAX allows you to process DI'd guitar and bass through simulations of various guitar-related gear pieces, and thus approximate a more realistic tone.

Essentially, this software provides you with an emulated pedalboard, a simulated effects loop, a modeled amplifier, a cabinet stage, and an effects rack, all of which are yours to tweak however you see fit. Not only that—you get two sets of the aforementioned items, and you're able to route your signal through each model in any manner you choose; mono chains, stereo setups, and dual stages of amplification are possible, as are creative combinations in practically any assortment you could cobble together. Two precise, digital tuners are provided to help you intonate your guitar to the cent.

It is also worth noting that the tools in AmpliTube 4 Deluxe work well in conjunction with analog synths, electric pianos, drums, and even soft-synths. This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms, and will work in VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX formats running at 64-bit.

Q: 1. Can this cabinet, or some others of the Humidity Control Cabinets be vertically stacked? I can somewhat see that there are round feet installed on the bottom of the cabinet. If better suited for stacking, can the feet be removed to allow for easier stacking of the same model units, one on top of the other?

A: The top is smooth metal, wouldn't lend itself to stacking. there are units that B&H sells that are two level.

Q: 2. Can the shelves be taken out?

A: The shelves are adjustable in position, and can be left out/removed if desired. :)

Q: 3. How long is the attachment cable? thx!

A: The attached cable to connect the extension cable is approximately 3-feet long.

Q: 4. could this be used with a mic?

A: No, it is not recommended to connect a microphone to an instrument level input.

[Yes] Excellent price on an excellent product. The second mini cabinet takes it out from the standard plastic portable amp category into an easy to carry practice amp with some presence. Good range of sounds for an amp of this size. This one is a different breed from the clock radio sound many other practice amps suffer from. This is now my official vacationing practice bass amp of choice. 5

[Download] This thing rocks out on earbuds, portable speakers, and a 4x12 cab. It's very boomy on an amps so the tone needs adjusting. Careful with the volume hooked to an amp as well, a little is a lot. The aux in audio is so useful for playing along with songs or a metronome with the volume being independent for fine tuning what you want to hear more of. I would recommend this, it sounds just as good as an amp modeler fro what it does. 5

[1 User] I honestly don't think there is a better option on the market, everything is perfect, the sound, the spects the price, THE SIZE!! , everything, The unit fits like a glove inside my gigbag and the pedal layering is so well and smart designed that you actually don't miss not having more buttons . It took me like 20 minutes or less to build my first patch and then the second day I made the whole rig setup for my live gigs, witch I took to a few days later. Everything was perfect, just some minor twiks here and there, but I felt that it's been with me for years. The MX5 will kill everything on the market in this price range, even higher. In fact because of the stereo FX send and the expression pedal, even the Gigboard is in danger. Well done Headrush, very well done. 5

[Yes] I use this mainly for practice with headphones. It also works and sounds great through a PA. I was pleased to see I can also use it through my guitar amp. The amp and cabinet simulations all sound great. So I’m hoping this will add different character to my amp when needed for certain songs. It’s a great addition to any rig! 5

[1 User] My son has been playing his electric guitar for about two years. Usually its plugged into his regular amp, which is loud. But there are times when we cant have the noise in the house, either due to homework, a phone call, or someone watching television or a movie in the other room. The VOX amPlug has solved the problem. He can play with the amPlug plugged into the guitar, and hooked up to his headphones. He hears the electric sound of the guitar through his headphones, while the only sound audible to the rest of us is the strumming of the strings, which is not loud enough to disturb the quiet activities going on. As far as the sound quality, I asked my son how he liked it after a couple of weeks of using it. He replied that it sounds good to him. (And the silence sounds good to me!) 5

[1 User] The AC30 is great for practicing when others want to sleep. It's very compact and fits in the accessories compartment in my guitar case. Tone is good (not great), and certainly acceptable for practicing. Given its small size, I don't think anyone can expect killer tone. I find the effects (Chorus, Delay, Reverb) a bit cheesy and don't use them. The volume is sufficient with headphones. I've used it with Sennheiser Momentums (18 ohm) and AKG K240 MkII (55 ohm). I've also tried it with a JBL Charge. I had to crank the Charge to full volume for the sound to fill a small room. But hey ... that makes for a very portable amp solution. 5

[Yes] Sounds great. Compact (doesn't take up much desk space.). Easy to program. I use set-lists and scenes as a work-around for lack of snapshots. Compared to my Helix LT - much less expensive; much smaller and less heavy; BUT no snapshots; no programming with computer connection (HxEdit); takes a bit of effort to type on keyboard screen due to size. I like it. 5
