Use the Amimon Connex Fusion Receiver | Wireless Video Solutionwith either your Connex or Connex Mini transmitter to add an additional monitor to your HD Video Link system. Up to four receivers can be linked to a single transmitter allowing the pilot and camera operator to each have their own monitor or FPV goggles, for example. Whereas traditional 5.8G analog systems limit you to SD resolution, with the Connex Wireless HD Video Link for UAVs from Amimon, you will be able to view a live, low-latency feed from a UAV-mounted camera at up to 1080p60 resolution. Suitable for monitoring, FPV, and gimbal operation, the system features a range of up to 3300' line-of-sight (depending on conditions). It incorporates an S.BUS relay so that gimbal controls for S.BUS-compatible gimbals can be relayed to back to the aircraft (gimbal remote available separately), and can display OSD data from MAVLINK telemetry modules (telemetry system available separately). The video transmission in encrypted to help prevent eavesdropping.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this unit transmit audio along with video ?

A: Both CONNEX and CONNEX mini do not support audio transmission along with the video transmission.

Q: 2. Can two or more units be used simultaneously for multiple camera setups without interfering with each other?

A: Yes, we have been using two separate units in two different ballrooms within the same building

Q: 3. can connected with video switcher and used same video wireless ?

A: Hi,I'm not sure I understand the question, but the CONNEX Air unit has a single mini-HDMI connector. As long as you have a single video feed to the Air unit, the CONNEX system will be able to support it, even if there is a switcher after the video source or sources. Also, please see a list of supported resolutions in the link below:https://a href= http://connexuav.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205148815-Supported-Resolutions target= _blank connexuav.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205148815-Supported-Resolutions/aRegards,Shahar KerenCustomer Support ManagerAMIMON

Q: 4. how much does the transmitter weigh?

A: The part that goes in the air is 130 grams, and the ground unit weighs 260 grams

Q: 5. Is the signal compressed to any particular bitrate?

A: Hi Nil,No, we don't compress the data and not changing the bit rate. Why do you care about that? Do you have any issue? Thanks,Yoav MalinCustomer Support manager @ Amimon

Q: 6. Can I use on sender and 4 reciver ? I need to connect 4 led screens in a concerts

A: Yes. You can connect up to 4 CONNEX receivers to one CONNEX transmitter. Video quality will not be affected and there will be no delay on all receivers.

Q: 7. can you use more then one UAV in the same physical space ?

A: The transmitter can link to up to four receivers, for example allowing the pilot and camera operator to each have their own monitor or FPV goggles (additional receivers available separately).Under optimal conditions two or three of these paired systems should have enough operating variance to function in a large outdoor, open space under optimal conditions. Be aware that we have not tested this function nor are there published specs detailing this operation. Please contact the manufacturer directly for details:USA, AMIMON INC2025 Gateway Pl. Q: 8. What is the warranty on this product

A: Hi,For receiver - 1 year. For transmitter - once it fly, no warranty. otherwise, 1 year. Thanks,Yoav Malin, Customer Support Manager at Amimon

Q: 9. So, 1600 get you only the transmitter? then I have to spend and other 1000 for a reciver.. ?

A: Hi, For $1599 you purchase both the transmitter (Air Unit) and the receiver (Ground unit) plus all the cables needed for their integration with the drone and camera. An extra receiver costs $999Kind regards,Netanel

Q: 10. does this unit also transmit the sound channel that is inside the hdmi feed?

A: I read in a forum, not sure which, FPVlabs maybe, that is does not send the audio. I believe Connex said they have something that does send audio but I never looked into that. You would have to ask Amimon Connex. They are very helpful with questions. They sent me an upgraded cable to get additional NAZA info to show in the OSD at no charge. I have not tried it yet. I need a part from Team Black Sheep, or modify the one I have so the HDMI ribbon cable will fit. I tried it on my 250 mini quad and it was like watching a Blu-Ray video with no lag but that's not what I bought it for. Don't want to crash with such high dollar electronics, mini quad has no GPS or return to home ability. Brad

[5 x SMA] Wow ! This product is AWESOME !!! If you are looking for wireless HD video feed, this is what you need ! I've been using the Boxx Meridian for 5 years now, and it did cost around 10K at the time, and now, with the Connex at around 1.2K; I'm getting the same result, even better !!! And it is so small compare to Meridian or event Teradek !!!!! OK, you don't get SDI connector and a downscaler like the Meridian... maybe... but depending on your gig, this pretty toy here is worth all is penny if you can work around without SDI. I did use it for 3 days in a row, non stop at a large convention, with both Boxx Meridian and Connex side by side. And both were giving me the same great reliable signal, without dropout the all time... And because Boxx Meridian is an older model, it didn't support 1080P60, while the Connex did ! I did have some dropout with the Connex while going outside the ballroom with a concrete wall in between the receiver and the transmitter, while the Boxx Meridian didn't have any dropout at the same spot... (at the price range of the Meridian, well, you expect it to be better in some ways, and it is !) But otherwise, we were transmitting both live feed to giant screen, and the Connex did pass the test easily for me ! Love it, and I'll by some more soon ! So, if SDI is not an issue for you, buy it !!!

[2.65 lb] Perfect replacement antenna for both Connex unit. I was tired of using the wired antenna that came with the original kit, so I bought those so I could have rigid antenna on the transmitter, and that still gives me 3 backup antenna for either receiver or transmitter. Work as well as original.

[5 x SMA] The Connex wireless systems have worked perfectly for us. We use them for small, wireless cameras in a sports venue. It only has to push video around 400 feet, but it's in an area with lots of RF interference and around 12,000 people. We're running at 1080p with no frame drops.

[7 to 17 VDC] Great product! Amazing HD Video with low latency. I used this along with the Silencer Fight Follow focus from 24shots. With this HD link adjusting focus and zoom was very easy. Great combo

[7 to 17 VDC] 110' of boom, 10 HD monitor in the operator cab, a Mokose HD teaching camera on a weighted boom that always points down the crane's loadline. My only issue has been finding the right batteries. I currently (haha) have two 7 AH Lipo Dakota's, wired in parallel, plus 2 10 watt PV panels, with a charge controller. My system has been in operation for almost a year, and I am putting two more togther for friends in the crane business, as it has helped me so much. Every issue I have had while getting the bugs out, ended up being battery related. The transmitter is located in a PVC junction box, along with the batteries, no crane modifications were needed (or allowed), I have about 3K in the entire system and it's worth every penny, just in stress relief by being able to SEE!

[> 1 ms] As an owner of the Connex Mini system, this is an exciting addition to the product line. Now I can enjoy the same massive range of the full size Connex system using this receiver, and still use my original Mini receiver as a secondary unit in a 1:2 setup. A great deal of bang for the buck with this product line. Pairing is fast and easy and you are good to go!

[10.2 oz / 290 g] Perfect choice for me !

[2.65 lb] The transmitter is so small and lightweight that it can be installed directly on the gimbal with its two antennas. Power is supplied by the battery of the gimbal, so no cable connects the nacelle and the camera to the drone, allowing a total freedom of movement, with or without the drone.
