The CineMilled Delrin Shim, 2" in width, allows you to mount 30mm accessories onto the 25mm handlebar tubes of the Ronin-M or Ronin-MX, the various MoVI stabilizers, and the CineMilled PRO Ring stabilizer. It has a flange design that lets you simply push the shim onto the place you want it, and it's precision machined from Delrin so it does not scratch or gauge carbon fiber tubes once tightened.

Q: 1. What are the hole sizes in the Cinemilled armpost adapter plate? I'm wondering if using a male to male 1/4 or 3/8 thread adapter, I could attach a Ronin-S to this plate (i.e., not attach the armpost adapter to a gimbal handle bar but just to the bottom of the Ronin-S).

A: We are not aware of a way for this product to be used with the Ronin-S. One portion connect to a 1/2" post from a Steadicam system, while the other connects to a 30mm Top Bar on the original Ronin.

Q: 2. Does this fit the Alexa 35?

A: The CineMilled PRO Dovetail for Freefly MoVI Pro is designed to be used with the ARRI Alexa Mini. CineMilled does not state any compatibility with the ARRI Alexa 35.

Q: 3. What’s the tube diameter?

A: The tube diameter for the CineMilled PRO-Ring 14 x 14" Handlebar is 25mm.

Q: 4. Would I have to purchase the bracket to mount my Original Ronin separately or does it already come with one? Need to know this before I buy?

Q: 5. The CineMilled steadicam arm post adapter: Will this adapter work with Movi Pro - for Steadycam arm post?

A: Yes, this will work with the Movi Pro. The Movi Pro has a 30mm bar, which is the proper size for this adapter.

Q: 8. So I want to fly my Sony fs700 on a Dji Ronin. Would this allow me enough wiggle room to operate efficiently or would I need additional parts?

A: You will be good with these two parts. If you were to add equipment to the back of the camera, say a battery, you would also need the CineMilled Pan Arm Extension for DJI Ronin Gen. 2 (Short) B&H # CICM502 or possibly the Long version. CineMilled Pan Arm Extension for DJI Ronin Gen. 2 (Long) B&H # CICM503 But if you are using just the FS700 and nothing on the back, the two extensions will be just fine.

Q: 9. Will the Ronin still fit in the standard case once these are installed?

A: yes it will

[2" (5 cm)] This is a fantastic ring that only uses the best available hardware as expected from Cinemilled. It's also highly customizable so you can rig it out however seems fit. Not sure what the other review is talking about, as right out of the box this ring is built like a tank. 5

[2" (5 cm)] I got these several years ago and came by to send the link to a fellow looking to modify his rig so I thought Id leave a review while here. Installation was a bit challenging because of the wiring on the Ronin so get a pal to help you. Still, it wasnt difficult. You will probably want the extender for the upper arm as well. The only drawback is you will have to modify the foam in your case to it will fit. Nothing a box knife on the foam wont take care of. Ive found I can still fly DSLRs with no problem either. Highly recommend it. Its a highly machined piece so dont complain about the price. You get what you pay for in this business. 5

[2" (5 cm)] I bought these to use on my Ronin-M grip and they work great! They require a slight modification of sanding down the notched on them but a dremmel took care of the no problem. It's so nice to be able to set down the ronin where ever I go! 5

[0.04 lb] The machining is very precise so getting it to fit took some work in terms of getting the price to sit in place while screwing it in but I eventually got them on. The wires on. The robin thankfuy extends when you pull them out of the long crease held in by plastic tabs. 5
