Tailor your sound with the black nickel Fishman Fluence Devin Townsend Pickup Set Black Nickelfor six-string electric guitars. One for the neck and one for the bridge, these two ceramic pickups let you toggle between two voices at opposite ends of the sonic spectrum. Voice 1 offers Devin Townsend's heavy metal voice and uses pole pieces rather than blade magnets to create greater sonic havoc. Voice 2, in contrast, delivers a low-gain, single-coil, passive, sweet-sounding tone.

The Fluence pickup gives more sense of immediacy in response than traditional passive pickups, making individual notes within chords come through more clearly. The Fluence sound is very low noise, and can be controlled for volume without sacrificing high end or clarity. Feel and response, as well as output, can be customized by raising and lowering the pickup in relation to the strings.

All components required to achieve Devin Townsend's wiring scheme are included, except for the pickup selector. Fluence runs on a standard 9V battery or on a Li-ion rechargeable battery pack (both available separately).

[Yes] The NEUMANN U 87Ai is a studio microphone with outstanding performance and an attractive shape. NEUMANN microphones are the best. This company has almost 90 (ninety) years of experience in the manufacture of microphones. Truly amazing.

[Bridge, Neck] The U87 is now the centerpiece in my studio! Combined with the Grace Pre, this mic really adds a new dimension to vocals. Acoustics guitars have a fuller sound. The detail surpasses my 414. Definately a great deal from B&H!

[Bridge, Neck] Small, beautifully made, well mounted and sounds great-- just like my first one. I wanted an alternative (semi-)matched pair for stereo work and this was my choice. Didn't want to spend the additional $3000 for the big daddy. I'm quite happy with it.

[Bridge, Neck] This mic is awesome. I additionally have a Sennheiser MKH416 which has better noise rejection. This Neumann condenser has a preferred frequency response. As a result, this mic is very well suited to live processing with an Apollo x8p or Twin X. I also have a few other mics, but this one is amazing!

[Active] I do VO's in a home voice over booth. I have an average voice at best. So, I'm always looking for a mic that enhances my voice to its fullest potential i.e. full, smooth lower range all the way through to the higher range with little to no sibilance (S'ing). AND, little to know popping my Ps, T's and D's. The Neumann LM 102 pretty much gives me all that for a very good price. As a result, my confidence goes up, as does my time savings, since I'm not having to do multiple takes due to the aforementioned. Win, win for me.

[Ceramic] I record a lot - I mean a lot. I went through the various options, the Sennheiser MHK416 (which I still have - a great mic), the TLM-103, The Stellar X - I should have bought the U87 first. Clean, clear, picks up the dust falling on the floor if that's what you want. It's expensive. You get what you pay for. Absolutely wonderful professional microphone.

[Ceramic] Great switch with a long cable. Mute and FX B selectable which makes this great for guitar and vocal cafe setup. Would be nice to have a channel select rather than an FX B but still a good unit.

[Bridge, Neck] This small amp packs more tone and clarity than you would think possible. Bob Sima uses these with acoustic guitars and headset mics and they sound great. I used mine today for a small acoustic gig. GREAT for small rooms where you just need a little boost because playing unamplified just doesn't quite cut it. The ONLY thing I wish they had done differently would have been to have a mid control on the vocal channel. Instrument channel has low, mid, and high. Vocal channel just has low and high. I agree with some other reviews that I've seen that the LoudBox Mini sounds better than some of the larger models. They got something right with this one.
