Q: 2. Just got it today. Is it normal that the lens twisting just a tiny little once locked on mount. It seems to be a little loose , I guess that is what I meant to say.

A: My FE 2.8 70-200 GM OSS will wiggle back and forth very slightly when mounted on my a7RII.

Q: 3. How durable is this lense in weather like rain or dust?

A: I've had it out for Friday Night Lights through many light mist to pouring rain circumstances. I do use a Rain Sleeve & I've not had a problem. When It's been a great lens that pairs wonderfully with my Sony a9. When I get home, I do undo everything & let everything dry overnight. I do not keep it in my bag. When you're investing that much money, I tend to do a bit more to ensure it's worth

[Neoprene rubber] I got this one because I bought the same for the 200-600mm lens. Why I used to hunt and go berserk over camo for certain seasons, now I shoot with the camera. I like the real tree system for both lenses. The switches and buttons are still accessible, but not in the cold when you're wearing thin gloves...you need your fingertip to activate switches through the plastic window. Rings still turn great...just adjust the neoprene to ensure no drag against the neighboring pieces.

My only issue (which is trivial) is the small arc cutout for the white locator pin used to attach the lens to the body is not large enough to see the pin; however, you know where it is based on the small arc itself. Or, get out your scissors and cut a bigger arc!

[0.15 lb] After experiencing how well LensCoat lens covers work for my 200-600mm, I picked one up for this lens. The fit incredibly well and provide that extra-level of protection, while also making you look important when not in the field! Highly recommend these covers

[Neoprene rubber] I purchased this for my 70-200mm f2.8 for a football game that I had field access and for which I was not sure what the weather was going to be during the game. I wanted some general protection and this was it. It comes in 3 small sections that you slide over your lens & lens hood. They all fit very snug and there was no worry that it would move or fall off at any time. As it turned out, the game night weather was clear, but very cold. I had this lens on a 2nd body with a Black Rapid strap. It was great to pull up the 2nd camera/lens and not feel the cold metal of the 70-200mm barrell. The cover does not impact your access to the focus or zoom ring. I am not sure how the cover would do in more severe weather but I like that it does give basic protection from keeping it on sling hanging from my side.

[0.15 lb] Use Lenscoat on all my lenses fro 30mm and up. It is such a great investment. It saves your lens from dings to scratches and in winter keeps your hands from freezing. A very small price to pay to protect your investment.

[0.15 lb] After I bought my new lens, I really needed this, seeing how hard photographing wildlife can be on your equipment. This cover went on easily, and does a great job protecting my lens. Once I figured out how to get the holes lined up exactly, I have no problems switching to manual focus, or turning the Image Stabilizer on or off.
