The military green Domke F-5XB RuggedWear Shoulder and Belt Bag can be used as a camera bag or, by removing the Gripper shoulder strap, threaded through the belt loop for an instant waist/hip pack. The bag is designed to store your DSLR or mirrorless camera, one to two lenses, filters, and related accessories. For easy access, the padded main compartment features both zipper and touch-fastening flap closure. Interior dividers provide added protection and are useful for organizing contents. Convenient pockets are useful for storing small accessories.

Weather-resistant RuggedWear fabric produces a unique distressed and weathered look right from the start. The high-quality, weather-tough, durable cotton canvas is treated with special non-solvent, environmentally friendly waxes to afford the fabric a lifelong resistance to inclement weather. The special formula allows the fabric to breathe, while the waxes produce a unique timeless, weathered, distressed patina finish. By using the included refinishing wax, bags can be restored to their original finish.

Q: 4. Is there any protective foam (or padding) in those two large end pockets outside the bag's main compartment?

A: The Domke F-2 Original Shoulder Bag Limited Edition Ripstop Nylon (Black) has six padded adjustable compartments and a removeable padded bottom. The side interiors are not padded.

Q: 5. Regarding wax finish; presuming material is much like many Filson waxed materials. Was not impressed by Tiffen Rep stating "shouldn't be a problem" DAUGH...NO IT SHOULDN'T. So have any of you tried waxing then warming with hair dryer and wiping down with clean cotton cloth to enhance water resistance and improve appearance while eliminating the greasey fee of excessive wax? I just wish it had the FX2 hand strap in addition. Maybe a couple slots for pen & penlight.

A: This bag has been a classic for 40 years and is perhaps the favorite bag of professionals. Any issues during that time seem not to be insurmountable.

Q: 7. Is there a sleeve for some A4 size documents please?

A: There is a rear pocket that will neatly fit a 25cm X 18cm notebook but it will not fit a folder of A4 paper unfolded. The rear pocket is fine for a small tablet or spiral bound note pad or engagement book but not full sized documents.

A: Yes, the Domke F-2 Ruggedwear Shooters Bag comes in the box with a tube of oil to maintain the material.

Q: 10. Will this bag accommodate a 6x7 system?

A: I used it for my Pentax 67 system. It would accommodate a body and two or three lenses. The dividers were too small to hold four of those large lenses, but leaving at least one space free added some flexibility. There was plenty of room in the other pockets for film, filters, and other small accessories. I did not use a flash.

[1.45 lb] Very nice implementation of the F2 bag, looks great. Only concern is that material seems rather thin/ lightweight compared to the standard canvas. Not an immediate concern, but time and usage will tell. 5

[1.45 lb] I've really enjoyed using this bag. I like how there is plenty of space for my Sony A7iv, A7cii, three lenses, wireless audio kit, filters, batteries, cables, and charger. It's super comfortable, durable and it makes for a great travel bag. 5

[1.45 lb] I am on the on-ramp of the digital photography highway. I researched many bags, but kept returning to the Domke F2. It will accommodate any shooting adventures for me with room to spare. I plan to carry one camera body and four lenses (at this time), as I seek to expand my abilities. I purchased the camouflage bag after reading that Domke donates to veterans focused groups. [1.45 lb] This bag is to be used for a mirrorless camera and its 3 lens. �I can also carry all associated material for my camera and an iPad. �With that and have room to spare. �Heavy duty canvas and comfortable a carrying strap that I can comfortably carry all day. �Definitely a quality product. 5

[1.45 lb] After trying a total of six different modern backpacks/slings for everyday carry, I unexpectedly found myself thinking maybe I should try Domke. The modern bunch are nice in many ways, but what they suffer from, for me at least, it really quick access to your stuff. Sure, a sling is quick, but most of the time it's too darn small. Did I really want to go back a carry style I first used years ago when schlepping 35mm SLRs? Not really. But then I saw a photojournalist using an F2 and I realized there's a reason why folks in the news business have used Domke for decades. So, I ordered one. I don't regret it. No dismounting a backpack; no getting on hands and knees to search for that hidden compartment. Everything is right there on my shoulder, within easy reach. And with the 2-inch, non-slide shoulder strap, it's surprisingly comfortable. And it's built like a tank. Is it perfect? No, but it has taken center stage in my carry bag collection. 5

[1.45 lb] Everyone knows Domke as 'the bag' for photographers. The F2 RuggedWear is perfect for sometimes rainy, misty, dewy, early mornings and late nights that are prime for urban street -or- travel shots. Over constructed and made in the USA. Movable compartments, lots of pockets. Whats not to like here? 5
