Designed for large venues, the 220V Da-Lite 29459E Wireline Advantage 65x116 Motorized Screen 220Vuses thin steel cables instead of black drop to lower the screen to an appropriate viewing height. Once the screen is installed, the screen's trim conceals the rough opening in your ceiling, eliminating the need to complete additional trim work. Sliding installation brackets help make it easy to attach the screen housing to the structure above the drop ceiling.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Are there two lights included with this unit. Are the lights 5600K?

A: Yes, the kit comes with two Impact One Monolights. They are strobe type lights and are daylight rated.Note the camera you use this with needs to have a sync port or you will need to get an adapter or wireless sync. And this is made for still photos not video.

Q: 2. Will this strobe work with 3rd party modifiers, or only the supplied softboxes?

A: That model strobe uses the Elinchrom mount also called EX. There are a few different manufactures that make modifiers with that mount, Elinchrom, Impact and Interfit. Note to be careful when picking it out that it is the correct mount. Impact and Interfit make different mounts not just EX.

Q: 3. What kind of slave/remote unit is best for the strobes with a small budget?

A: A good radio trigger option on a small budget that is compatible with this monolight kit is the Impact PowerSync16 DC Radio Slave System. Please see the image below for reference.

Q: 4. How many strobes. How many soft boxes in the kit.? Modeling lights?

A: This kit would include two Impact EX 100 monolights, two softboxes with speed rings, two sync cables, two power cords, flashtube/modeling lamp for each head, a reflector for each head, spare fuses for each head, Impact 8 ft light stands and a 1 year warranty on each head. The only thing not included in this kit is a bag.

Q: 5. does this come with a sync cord?

A: Yes the sync cord is included.

Q: 6. I got my Arri 650 plus today, and when i turn the focus knob, it seems that it turns off the light if i turn it all the way left, or all the way right. is that supposed to happen? it feels like the knob is a bit sensitive too. thanks

A: No, this certainly shouldn't happen. Perhaps there's something amiss with the wiring. I suggest taking back for a review or simply exchanging for another.

Q: 7. Does it have a dimmer?

A: No, there is no dimmer attached. You may wish to purchase one separately.

Q: 8. I was just wondering if anyone has replaced the modelling lamp with an LED light bulb? I imagine you could get a lot more light output from an LED bulb, especially a cree bulb. I understand it would have to be the dimmable variety...

A: It has not been tested by the manufacture. It is not recommended to do that as you can damage the electronics if there is a compatibility issue.

Q: 9. How long is the sync cord? Can you buy a sync cord in longer lengths?

A: The included sync cable is 15 feet long. You can an extension like the Impact Sync Cord Male PC to Female PC (16') B&H # IMPCMPCF16.

Q: 10. I have a Nikon D3300, Do I need to buy the PowerTrigger transmitter in order to make the Flash work? Or the sync cord will do the job.

A: I am not familiar with Nikon but I can tell you that the sync cord works with my Canon DSLR. As long as there is an outlet on the side of the camera, which there should be, it should work fine.

[130 degrees] We installed this in a rehabbed church space that's now a contemporary art gallery flush mounted it to an exposed beam and it looks and works great. That said, it's only been about a week, so maybe I'll report back later if I have any complaints! I was surprised that, for its length, there are only 2 mounting holes on either end, so I fear that it may sag over time. But again, too soon to tell. Where it does mount in those 2 places, it's on a solid plastic end cap/brace, so it seems like it will hold up well. It weighs about 85 pounds, so we had 3 people to install. We had to go about 17 feet up to the beam, we leveled, marked and pre-drilled & drove lag bolts into the beam and then used two extension ladders on either side to climb and carefully slide the projection screen/case up on the ladder's rails. Our 3rd person was on a 10ft ladder in the middle and was there as a spotter for extra support. It was then quite easy to hook it on to the lag bolts once we slid it to the top. All in all, it's an easy install, we opened the box and had the job done in less than 4 hours. Just be sure you have the wiring supplies and the proper mounting hardware and you'll have no problem!
