Designed for large venues, the 220V Da-Lite 29265E Wireline Advantage 65x116 Motorized Screen 220Vuses thin steel cables instead of black drop to lower the screen to an appropriate viewing height. Once the screen is installed, the screen's trim conceals the rough opening in your ceiling, eliminating the need to complete additional trim work. Sliding installation brackets help make it easy to attach the screen housing to the structure above the drop ceiling.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How many strobes. How many soft boxes in the kit.? Modeling lights?

A: This kit would include two Impact EX 100 monolights, two softboxes with speed rings, two sync cables, two power cords, flashtube/modeling lamp for each head, a reflector for each head, spare fuses for each head, Impact 8 ft light stands and a 1 year warranty on each head. The only thing not included in this kit is a bag.

Q: 2. I have a Nikon D3300, Do I need to buy the PowerTrigger transmitter in order to make the Flash work? Or the sync cord will do the job.

A: I am not familiar with Nikon but I can tell you that the sync cord works with my Canon DSLR. As long as there is an outlet on the side of the camera, which there should be, it should work fine.

Q: 3. Does it have a dimmer?

A: No, there is no dimmer attached. You may wish to purchase one separately.

Q: 4. I just received my impact EX-100A monolight today. And realized my cord is a European cord. I wanted to know if I am able to get an adapter for it so that it works, or do I have to return it?

A: Hi Sharlene, you have bought the 220V AC unit, so, you must know if where you are you have that electricity. If you are, you just need to buy the adapter. I have used mine in Chile where the electricity comes at 220V AC, but I needed an adapter to plugging in.

Q: 5. Hi, which exactly is the Mini to PC Synch Cord? Could you send me a link?I have a canon 650D and i'm not pretty sure if i can manage these lights from my camera.Thanks.

A: A mini to PC sync cord would allow a camera with a sync terminal to be connected to these lights. Please see the following link for an example of the cable: a href= http://bhpho.to/1qtaQvJ. target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1qtaQvJ./a As for use with the Canon 650D, you would need a hotshoe to PC sync adapter to use these monolights. Please see the link for the adapter: a href= http://bhpho.to/1jT4Cko target= _blank http://bhpho.to/1jT4Cko/a

Q: 6. What kind of slave/remote unit is best for the strobes with a small budget?

A: A good radio trigger option on a small budget that is compatible with this monolight kit is the Impact PowerSync16 DC Radio Slave System. Please see the image below for reference.

Q: 7. I was just wondering if anyone has replaced the modelling lamp with an LED light bulb? I imagine you could get a lot more light output from an LED bulb, especially a cree bulb. I understand it would have to be the dimmable variety...

A: It has not been tested by the manufacture. It is not recommended to do that as you can damage the electronics if there is a compatibility issue.

Q: 8. Will this strobe work with 3rd party modifiers, or only the supplied softboxes?

A: That model strobe uses the Elinchrom mount also called EX. There are a few different manufactures that make modifiers with that mount, Elinchrom, Impact and Interfit. Note to be careful when picking it out that it is the correct mount. Impact and Interfit make different mounts not just EX.

Q: 9. My flash tube broke. Is that covered in the one year warranty ?

A: Unfortunately, the warranty for this monolight only covers defects in the unit as a whole. It does not cover lamps.

Q: 10. does this unit have hss?

A: No it doesn't have HSS

[0.6] The screen functions as described. we used the additional brackets to mount the screen to a concrete wall. The mechanical parts of the screen are smooth and easy to use!

[0.6] The screen was simple to mount (we used lag bolts and attached the screen to a wall.) The screen did not come with instructions on how to install the switch for a 120v motor...complicated the electrical install was inconsistent wire colors on the switch and the screen. After consulting an electrician and enduring his derision for working with this product - he correctly intuited the correct wiring configuration. A big thanks to the customer service at B&H. We ordered the screen 2 weeks from a graduation. The shipper lost the screen for nearly a week, without informing us. I contacted the shipper, who responded with a long distance shoulder shrug - explaining they would look for it again. Unable to motivate the shipper, I called B&H - they got involved, and the screen was in my driveway 36 hours later. Thanks B&H.
